Rachel Bilson: InStyle’s New Fashion Editor!

RB is one of the most well-known untalented people attempting to work in Hollywood today. Thanks to her family connections and willingness to do almost anything that will get her some spotlight/media time she tried (and failed) as a fashion designer and was exposed as a fraud and design copier. It might not be illegal to steal someone’s design, change only one detail and then claim it’s yours, but EVERYONE KNOWS WHEN YOU’VE DONE IT. On your first run at trying to pass yourself off as a fashion designer it looks terrible like maybe you don’t have any creativity. Anyone that watches Project Runway in either US or Canada for even one season can see that her designs are not creative at all, no new ideas there or even different spin on old idea. It looks like 80’s New Wave meets Grunge in a Swedish Red Light district, five years ago. Now she’s trying to be a fashion editor for a supermarket $0.99 ragzine. I wonder who will be ghost writing it for her since anyone that looks at her pictures where she’s shopping wonders who wears the expensive things she buys. Clearly it isn’t her. She looks like a Wal-Mart special but with less style in putting the clothes together than a middle-school girl.

This is an even bigger joke than RB doing a cooking show out of HC’s kitchen in Canada. Would someone tell me how a girl who says she wants a simple life out of the papprazzi’s cameras, living on a farm in Ontario, have a bunch of kids, lots of animals etc. spends 90% of her time in Los Angeles being phtographed shopping by papprazzi that she calls to follow her around, clearly desperate to get a film role in a major picture and get out of the TV actress mold (Jumper was so awful, just the best reason EVER not to hire any actress that could do a job as bad as that) and is now trying to be some kind of fashion expert when her own line failed (DKNY did not renew it or ask for any more to it.) LOSER. RB seriously needs to get over herself. She is NOT AN ACTRESS, NOT A DESIGNER, NOT A FARMER’S WIFE, too short to be a model and now too old to be one anyway. She’s pitching cheap sunless tanner. BOTTOM OF THE BARRELL.

It’s clear to everyone who’s read RB’s interviews that she’s a complete airhead (recently called Zac Posen’s collection ‘fabulous shayt’ to a reporter at Fashion Week). Everyone who’s watched what she’s been doing the last 2 years in the press knows that she’s a fraud and a hypocrite but she still talks like she thinks she some kind of fashion icon and great actress. Everyone who’s seen Jumper knows that the girl can’t act for toffee and her turn in NYILU was trashed by the critics.

She has a voice like a rusted gate, the face of an underfed Kewpie doll, the body of a deformed Coke bottle, the intelligence of a plastic rock and the personality of a spoiled toddler with toliet training issues.

I’d feel bad for Hayden to be stuck with such a troll but he brought this on himself. No one takes him seriously as an actor anymore since he took up with her. She makes anyone look bad but he needs no help doing that.

even if this movie gets made, hc did not get a major part in it, it is not his movie, it is Kevin Spacey’s movie, he would be a side kick. So far he disappointed the viewers and enraged the critics with his acting abilities.
Just like Factory Girl, it was Sienna’s movie.

read again!!!!! Spacey is the star, the rest are just cast. Abramoff is the main subject of the film.

I’m told that Kevin Spacey is set to star as Jack Abramoff, Hayden Christensen will play Abramoff’s closest associate Mike Scanlon, Spencer Garrett (Public Enemies) will play Majority Leader Tom DeLay, and Arrested Development star David Cross will play Abramoff crony Adam Kidan. The production is also in talks with Tea Leoni as Abramoff’s wife.

Hayden isn’t working now and it’s all rumor until it’s printed in Variety. This is exactly like the other pictures he was supposed to be in during the last year or so (Poker Brat, Beast of Bataan, Crash Bandits, Necromancer, Tin Tin, etc. etc.) Nothing every came of the rumors. His career is almost destroyed thanks to the string of failures he did starting with Factory Girl (which he was barely in and terrible) and ending with the famously awful Jumper. He’s supposed to be pretty lackluster in the new Paul Walker film ‘Taker’s coming out next year and it’s a smallish part anyway (Thank God.) He was cast because (1) the producers wanted an additional draw and (2) he had a friend on the production who knew he needed a job. He’s also rumored to suck at the voice work he just completed. No suprise there as his voice has never been what he acted with. He’s a cryer and a whinger; that’s how he gets his emotional impact. He’s nothing without big blue eyes swimming with fake tears and his pasty face turning red with rage/hate/whatever.

care to elaborate, it just means cast, but the star is Kevin S. if you can’t face the reality just wate until it is made, hc will not be the star of the film, if it is going to be made, and Kevin S. will get some award and good reviews and hc will not ve even mentioned for his work, if he does not ruin it.

I have nothing against hc, but every time he gets cast, I get nervous that he will fail again. He is now completely consumed by his new family - rb, he is also taking care of his real family and building adn shopping and designing and I think he is not even thinking of acting lessons or any kind of work on his craft. I am sorry to say, but the reason he is insecure is bc he knows he is not talented and intelligent and that is why he feels safe with rb bc she is a complete ditz.
If you want to keep hoping for him to suddenly reveal some sort of great talent, good luck to you.

Smilehexe, thanks for the info the extensive info. Maybe I’ll check it out some day. I work in a medical facility and see really sad stuff every day so I try to stay away from movies that are too depressing.

Gasol, SC was in “boys don’t cry” too? I saw that movie too but don’t remember her in that either. Was she Hilary’s character’s love interest? It was a really good movie but it was also too sad and not something I could sit through a second time.

I agree with both of you, it’s really very refreshing to see Hollywood folks keep their natural features. In addition to the ladies you’ve mentioned; I think Reese Witherspoon is another unconventional beauty, who despite her ordinary looks, has worked hard and is now one of the top ranking actresses around.

Factly speaking & as of press time, casting HC on a “lead” role (quite just ok if its just for a supporting back-up) is a request for “failure at the box office & movie critics”. The End.

@ LEXIE You know I will make it my responsibility I will put up because no one tells me to shut up …that seems all you can threaten ppl with PUT UP OR SHUT UP my 12 yr old neice can come up with a better line and by the way since you are a Rachel fan I am guessing you are under the age of 20 or younger .not that there is anything wrong with that but usually that is age limit of her fans and it is so good that u can look at the small print ,but so do I but I am not blinded by fake ppl and idiots which apparently you seem to follow and # 120 well put ,they usually clean up the $hit she throws around and must carry a heavy shovel.

Congratulations to your cat mommy for her sweet kids! Yes, indeed I’d love to see them, but I cannot take an own cat at the moment, and yes, I live too far away from your place which is a pity. You could surely get me as their nanny. Would love to do that work!

“Boys Don’t Cry” I couldn’t make myself to watch, and I know I should have. Read a lots of good critics on that movie but also that it’s so very sad which scared me off. Maybe I’ll get the guts one day if I discover it on TV, I hope so.
“These Walls Could Talk” I’ve never heard about, but maybe it has another title in German? I will keep my eyes open for movies with Chloe Sevigny in them as I think she’s quite talented.

A new movie part for HC? I have my doubts and agree to those people who say they want more confirmation first, especially as George Hickenlooper is involved in the project. Didn’t Kevin Spacey say a while ago he would end his movie career due to being a very busy theater director in London now? What happened to have his mind changed? Anyway, he CAN act for sure.

I understand your feelings very well. I also have my worries in my own life which prevent me from watching too depressing stuff from time to time.
