OlderAlexis Bledel Flocks To Film Festivals
Gilmore Girls star Alexis Bledel attends the CHANEL and Tribeca Film Festival Artists’ Dinner at Odeon on Thursday (April 23) in New York City.
The 27-year-old actress stars in The Good Guy, which is being screened at the Tribeca Film Festival. Alexis plays the love interest of Tommy Fielding (Scott Porter) who is riding a streak of good fortune and a budding romance but then takes a hapless co-worker under his wing.
Later this year, Alexis will be appearing in a comedy called The Post Grad Survival Guide. She stars as a recent college graduate who moves back in with her dysfunctional family while she figures out what she wants to do with her life.

ER did a great thing when they had her on the last episode. She was questioning if she could do her job. I wish they would let us follow her medical career with a spin off of her character .
I love watching “Gilmore Girls” on Lifetime every weekend.
She’s cool the way she is, I hope she doesn’t change for anyone, or any film. Way better than Natalie Portman

Agree much. Alexis is a decent actress, not a celebrity, she doesn’t live that lifestyle and some people are so closed minded and stupid enough to think that every actor in Hollywood wants fame and money, Alexis doesn’t live by that rule, she is an honest, modest girl and not typical Hollywood bimbos flocking in HW nowadays.
Early life
Bledel was born in Houston, Texas. Her mother, Nanette, is Mexican, and her father, Martin Bledel, is Argentine; her father’s family were Danish immigrants to Argentina.[1] She has one younger brother, Eric, born 1986. Her first language is Spanish, and she did not learn English until she began school.[2] In fact, her Sisterhood co-star America Ferrera was surprised during an interview with a Spanish magazine when Bledel started speaking Spanish.
Alexis is (still) looking young looking. She can still play a teenager convincingly. I have to say she was a beautiful teenager and now she’s turned into a gorgeous woman. I’m a girl, but she looks almost like she’s not real. I’m sure make up & less-hype lifetstyle helps a lot, but the 20’s have been good to her and most likely even if she hit on her 30’s. Lucky, lucky girl!
Alexis “deserves” more on the spotlight rather than those train-wrecked & media addict celebs who just relies on the tabs just to keep their name on the Hollywood radar!
She’s totally a BREATH OF FRESH AIR from those media-hoes regularly appearing on this site just for the sake of being on the news. A real normal, grounded & sensible celeb, a rare piece in Hollywood these days.
I think she’s sort of “clueless” on how great looking she is - to think that she really got something to flaunt it off. But hell not, after all these years, she anti-starlet & hype-scandal free. And that “earned” her a lot of notches.

Great ending to a great show. Love everything about it and “I give lots of props to Alexis Bledel”, who gave a pretty good performance. Would have loved to have seen more of her and the character of (the very charismatic) Dr. Julia Wise if a rumored spin-off gets to be materialize.

She’s soo modest even if she’s incredibly good looking, she’s down to earth and she’s not going to change who she is. That’s what I like about her. She will be fine. She has a good head on her shoulders and would always be.
I like the fact that she’s not “overexposed” and very rarely showing on the tabloids. Based on her interviews, she shows interest in things that are outside of Hollywood. In essence, she’s relatable; I see her as more than just an actress. She is more realistic than other celebrities. She’s one of the very few people who are truly grounded and appreciate life for what it is. She’s modest, she’s down to earth and she’s not going to change who she is. That’s what I like about her.
Alexis is “crazy-beautiful” and after watching ER’s final episode weeks ago, she’s now “crazy-talented” - LOL!
Good thing that Alexis doesn’t end up w/ Milo, just don’t have that fondness to a guy who’s just as tall as her girlfriend… where’s the giddiness in that?!
