Natalie Portman Launches Makingof
Natalie Portman launches her new website Making Of during the 2009 Tribeca Film Festival in New York City on Saturday (April 24).
The 27-year-old actress worked with Christine Aylward to create the behind-the-scenes Web portal that shows the process of creating entertainment through film clips, interviews, and articles.
“At MakingOf our goal is to bring that up-close experience to everyone, including the ever-increasing number of self-taught filmmakers, who find audiences for their films using new opportunities for video-sharing online,” said Natalie.

She’s gorgeous but she always dresses so frumpy and too old for her age. She’s got a body, she should show it off a little.

She’s beautiful she shows the more down to earth profile of a celebrity and who says they have to show a ton of body to be attractive. I actually love the purple dress on her she has a flare for style done well but, not over done as too many celebs I feel over expose areas that don’t need to be shown.

She always looks so beautiful regardless of what she wears. Besides, fashion is an afterthought for her. She’s far too busy working on her career and other meaningful things like FINCA and animal rights to worry about $1000 shoes or $5000 handbags.

I like this dress, but it would’ve been better with a small belt, which would’ve emphasised her body frame.

Hell at least she does postive things for people in this world and thank god for someone like her who actually can read above a 6th grade level in show business. I find the would be actress or I want to be a fashion designer ones her age do nothing productive with themselves the best you will get is a walk to the local gas station for rolling papers or booze. Or meet up with the dealer at the local restaurant and have it papped out that it’s a business meeting. PLEZZEE.

@ Lily your right about the celebs that put a $$$ on what they buy be it shoes, handbags or desiging their own sorry ass clothing line with a high price tag on it. Look back at how many actress’ are on JJ now who do nothing productive but, shop all day long or need the press to see what they bought as if it will start a trend. I don’t think she gives a rats but if she has on a $25 pair of shoes on or a $2,500 shoes and bag I know she owns designer lables due to the fact that many big name designers will give a celebrity clothing, shoes, bags etc to have their name out there and Natalie is a top celeb. But bottom line is her charities and her devotion to them supercedes anything else that is irrelevant for the greater good of the people.

You’re entitled to your negative opinion of Natalie. But what makes you think that she’s a racist? That’s such a harsh accusation. Have there been documentation to support your accusation?
I’m sure there are many that dont care for Natalie but, truly she is adorable and NO she doesn’t look like she did when she was younger. REASON she is almost 28 and she is dressing like a woman who is 28 not some actress who is 27 and dressing like she was 15. There are way to many actress’ out there who are in their mid 20’s acting and dressing like some teenager and why b/c they don’t want to ge old.
She is a wonder person and has great potential.
Well that sounds boring.
