Miranda Kerr: Salon & Shoes, Oh My!
Victoria’s Secret supermodel Miranda Kerr goes for some retail therapy at Barney’s New York in Beverly Hills and then gets pampered at a salon in Los Angeles on Wednesday (April 29).
No sign of the 26-year-old’s current beau, Orlando Bloom.

Oh don’t mind little T17 cause she’s just jealous (sorry i can’t think of other words. Obviously she wants her fave model to date or have a famous bf. I also think she’s annoyed cause her fave model refused in advance to attend the Gala Event in exchange for a charity event somewhere in Europe and Africa. She really wants her girl to be out there, but her fave isn’t doing that. Maybe she’s also hibernating like her good friend and partner in crime Lima. LOL
Afterall, imo that’s the reason for all her mockery that she decided to make silly comments.
Pour info, I’m not jealous. I think the worst thing which could arrive to Doutzen is that she is with a famous person. Doutzen got her contract by her own way, whereas Miranda was unknown (especially of Fashion World) as model. She had no contract. Doutzen did more in 6 years of career than Miranda in 12 years of “career” (mdr, lol, ptdr, …) No one can say the opposite!!! And personally, I prefer to see Doutzen refused to go at a Gala Event to go at a charity event!! Doutzen a une personnalité extraordinaire!!!!!!!!
Miranda modeled part time until she finished school, so really her true career has only been for about seven years. And unknown? Hardly. She did a lot of runway work, and was becoming very well known. Well known enough to walk for VS in 2006, less than three years after arriving in NY. And no contract? I think that you are delusional.
And I find it funny that ‘altruistic’ Doutzen is patting herself on the back by getting publicity for her trip to Afrtica. If she was truly a good person not looking for publicity, she would have gone without the camera crew. Like Orlando did when he went to Nepal. If it wasn’t for the UNICEF cameras, we would never have known that he went. He and Miranda both do a lot of work with children without calling the press. THAT is what charity work should be.
Maybe Doutzen will lose some weight on her trip, and be able to walk a runway again. :P

They used to say that Doutzen would never use her boyfriend to get publicity, but then she posed with him, just so she could be included in a magazine.
They claimed that Doutzen would be the new ‘it’ girl for VS, but then Doutzen has been relegated to lower end lines, and no commercials since Christmas, while Miranda has been made the face of two lines so far this year (the bra, and the perfume), and is now being used to promote their new line of fragrances, as well as appearing with Heidi in TV interviews to promote their Mother’s Day contest. Where’s Doutzen?
They claimed that Miranda would never be included in the ‘real’ fashion world, and now she is going to the Met Ball. The haters made a big deal about Miranda not going last year. If it is that important, doesn’t it say a lot THIS YEAR, that she is going? Where is Doutzen? If it had been Miranda, they would claim that she could have arranged her trip to Africa to not interfere with such an important event, if she was invited.

They did a very nice thing. They took the time to raise money, and NEVER ONCE patted themselves on the back. They just said that they needed to do something. The ones that patted themselves on the back were the celebs who stayed home, but called in to tell the world how much they donated. I referred to their pathetic act-drop, non to the presence of cameras on a TV SHOW!….but I don’t think you can get what I’m sayig…That was a seriuos event, not a red carpet to show ogg how much they loved each other, I found this really out of place.

He was expressing a few of the reasons why he felt so close to the Australian people. One reason being that he filmed a movie there, and another that he was in love with an Australian.

She was working for VS before they even met. And Megan was ALWAYS going to stay with David Jones. The haters just ignore the original press releases that said that Megan was being moved to ‘Brand Ambassador’, and that Miranda was taking over the runway as ‘Fashion Ambassador’. Miranda does all of their photo shoots, while Megan does other things in the company. Megan was a guest at their shows, not involved in them.
She was a successful model before they got together, and I’m sure that being with Orlando has helped her visibility, but their relationship has not affected his career in the least. He is famous enough in his own right. He was followed by paps when he dated Kate, and when he was single. That has not changed. He is doing EXACTLY what he always said that he wanted to do. Work in smaller films, where the story takes the spotlight, not the special effercts.
