to everyone saying she’s overated. guys, give her a chance. you are all so quick to make a judgment on her status as an actress from a disney film. she han’t explored the world of acting yet and she’ll grow through that process. she hasn’t been in the industry for very long. you never underestimate someone because you never know how things are going to turn out!!

Wow, people are suddenly interested in the career prospects of a ‘no talent’. I’m sure there are threads dedicated to lots of talented and older thespians here. You know the more you guys post on those threads, the more JJ will post on those ‘talented’ ones.

I don’t get why you defeat your purpose by sitting on the thread of a ‘no talent’ and giving her more relevance.

Back to topic, can’t wait to know why she’s meeting up with Richard Gladstein. I love how she is on the radar of and hobnobbing with different top notch producers. I’m really happy that these producers that matter see potential in her and are giving her the opportunities to build up a solid resume.

Every good thing takes time, she’s just 20, she has plenty of time to prove herself and do some amazing work. A lot of older actresses did not have that privilege of time and consideration for good projects.

For now, I’m happy that even in a recession and tightening up of studios’ wallets, she’s not lacking for projects and is still being approached by top producers.

Money is scarce, when producers are prepared to stake their cash and reputation in casting you, then they really believe you’re a good investment. For someone who has not yet proven herself, that’s a pretty great compliment and I’m stoked for her.

She’s gorgeous. Love the outfit, want that skirt.

She was meeting with the President of Film Colony, Richard N. Gladstein, a two-time Oscar nominated producer.

She’s also working with Zack Snyder late this fall, && Daniel Barnz this summer, who is a Grand Jury Prize (Sundance) nominated director.

She’s got jobs lined up, don’t worry about it.

How can a person like VANESSA be a shame to the planet of HETERO AMERICANS…. I believed VANESSA has a millions of fans all over the world who keeps on supporting this young lady.She had done nothing bad in her fellows and in this world except to live a normal life aside from being ONE OF THE MOST POPULAR CELEBRITY IN THE HOLLYWOOD , its not her fault if others find her annoying. For a ditractors who keeps on monitoring her everyday life & keep maligning this lady. I beat you/ they must need some air to refresh always your/ their persona/s… Pity !

I have to agree with Layla(#14). This girl is beautiful and sings okay, but she won’t be huge in Hollywood. Zac might make it…but she… won’t for sure.

It’s just your opinion, you don’t know for sure.

Besides, who says she wants to be huge anyway, she might just want to enjoy her life and be able to do the kind of work that appeals to her. There are lots of successful thespians that are not ‘huge’ and have no desire to be ‘huge’ but are enjoying their lives. That’s why lots of thespians avoid big studio or mass appeal movies.

She might just decide after a few movies to settle down and get married and devote her life to her kids like Jada Smith or Denzel’s wife or Rita Wilson, or she might just decide to travel the world and become a writer or become a fashion designer. Neither of these options would make her any less successful or content as a woman.

I like how everyone predicted ‘for sure’ that she will be over after HSM 3, barely six months after that Disney movie, she has three movies with top producers and is in talks for more and the false prophets are still prophesying. Get over yourselves!

Fact is, at age 20, she has already achieved what some people never achieved in their lifetime. She knows what she wants to do with her career and life and as long as she’s happy, we, her fans are good.

The rest of you can keep trying to find ways to diminish her unsuccessfully.
