Vanessa Hudgens is a Skirt Flirt
Vanessa Hudgens gets swamped with photographers as she gets out of her Audi convertible at a friend’s home in Los Angeles on Thursday afternoon (April 30).
The 20-year-old has signed on to star in the upcoming flick, Beastly and Alex Pettyfer will be co-starring alongside her according to E!. Beastly starts shooting this summer in Montreal, Quebec.

Vanessa has just as much chance of Zac of making it bigger but just like him she could also fail, don’t get me wrong I love Zac but he is to me just starting out in the adult world of acting and having watched 17 Again yes he did a great job but that’s not to say that he just like Vanessa will always make he right choices with films but that’s what esperience will teach them, as will by doing different films which suits their indivudual talents seperately.
They are 20 and 21 so they have a lot of things still to learn in llfe and a life in films but so far they seem to be doing okay, and as for Vanessa’s acting beyond HSM then I’ll save my judgement and comments until I’ve seen the films she is doing now and is planning on doing, I may not like all of them but as Zac said himself you can’t please everybody all the time and it’s true they have to do what they feel is right for them, some of the top top actors who have been in the busy many year’s do the ocassional bum film but that’s life if your a fan then you still like them, as after all it’s only a film role they’ve played maybe not to your liking but it was their choice to give it a go which they do.
Nobody know’s how a film will be received until it hits the screen just like the first HSM nobody knew it would grow into what it has today. Time will tell. Like I said though Vanessa does’nt brag about what she’s doing she keeps it on the quiet which is good.

@Naomi: I couldn’t agree more, Naomi! Vanessa has a great fan base, and that’s a bankable asset for a film studio. These days that’s invaluable.
And might I say she’s looking lovely in this sweet skirt!! So simple and pretty for a business meeting!! Young ones, take note!! Vanessa knows how to dress, and where to wear the right clothes. It’s so important to make the right impression with people.

I like that the reporter noted that Bandslam is not a break out role for Vanessa. While her character Sa5m is different from Gabriella, there are still some similarities but that is fine as long as she doesn’t make that the norm, then it will be really bad.
I like that she acknowedged that her fans gave her the opportunity to be where she is today and by implication is pacing herself to carry them along.
Her current fanbase can still take in Bandslam and Beastly then Sucker Punch can be her big breakout role into a new audience. that sounds like a smart strategy to me. Hopefully, Dead@17 will be PG13. I would like her to vary her roles so she can carry both demographics with her.
She is on the right track though, I like that she is not in a hurry, hopefully she’ll stick to this strategy, she’s still young and has time on her side.

Here’s how I look at the big picture on this so-called Zanessa phenomenon. God put Zac and Vanessa where they are right now. They didn’t ask for all this attention - this is just a by-product.
God blessed them with opportunities to use their acting, singing, and dancing abilities that both their parents nurtured for them since they were toddlers. And they continued to use their God-given talent to the maximum by working hard doing what they love to do and where both parents supported them all throughout. Then God gave them HSM which unbeknownst to them would become a phenomenal success that could change their life forever - because HSM opened the doors to a potential real acting career opportunities for them. Simply put, their hardwork (and their parents sacrifices) since their childhood paid off and God has rewarded them with this success & open doors… although God always puts a caveat to it, thus, with the open doors of greater opportunities they are faced with the challenge of working harder more than they ever did and the challenge of facing the evils of being judged, scrutinized, and hated in the entertainment business. Personally, I believe they will survive as long as they use the same formula. And that is to listen and stick to their parent’s wisdom and support all throughout their career as they focus, and work harder than ever before to pursue it. God Bless them and all the great cast of HSM whom God has blessed for their dreams to be pursued. Don’t waste your time worrying about what people think. Let God be your judge not people. Focus on working hard to reach one’s goal. Ignore detractors. Seek ye first the kingdom of God and all these things shall be added unto you. If we Put God First in everything we do if life there’ll be trials and sacrifices but in the end we will be crowned with success, satisfaction, and contentment. (btw, it doesn’t matter who your God is, it can be Krishna, Muhammad, Jesus, buddha, etc. as long as you have a sense of purpose in life).

Who is Alex Pettyer and what is this movie Beastly about? Filming in Canada…aren’t they filming the New Moon movie in Canada now too…they’ll probably finish filming before they’ll get underway…Good for Vanessa…I hope she proves me and other naysayers wrong about her acting skills. I like her music, especially Let’s Dance…I listen to that song all the time, and it makes me feel like dancing…she has enough money where she doesn’t have to work if she doesn’t want to…unless she has many debts….
How come JJ left out the pictures of Vanessa with Richard Gladstein?
In my book that is BIG TIME news for her to meeting with someone so important in the entertainment industry.
Wonder if he’s involved some way in “Beastly” or if they are going to be working together on another movie?
According to Team Hudgens site, producer/director Richard Gladstein has five new films in the works. Maybe Richard Gladstein wants Vanessa in one of his new movie production.

Read an article about Zac being very upset that she went out and was photographed in only a shirt. Maybe this skirt is more to his liking.
Remember Zac you can take the tramp out of the shirt but she will still be a tramp.
