Anne Hathaway - MET Costume Institute Gala 2009
Anne Hathaway (in Marc Jacobs) works out her big bouffant hair on the red carpet at the “Model as Muse: Embodying Fashion” Costume Institute Gala at The Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York City on Monday (May 4).
The 26-year-old actress finished off her look with Pour La Victoire metallic “Bethanie” strappy platform sandals and Van Cleef & Arpels jewels including “Camelia” earrings of 5.8 carats of emeralds and diamonds, the between-the-finger “Lotus” diamond ring and the “Zip Paris Trocedero” diamond ring.

She looks so fabulous! She does old hollywood glamour so well! The dress is beautifully structured. And the hair/makeup are fierce. She looks amazing. The Met is allllllll about glamour and drama! She brought it!
She is wearing GALA hair, GALA makeup and a GALA outfit. She came dressed for the occasion unlike that Rachel Bilson who looks like she’s going to Wal mart in Arkansas..
not the best look for her - and not the best length for her legs. she is a lovely girl but this look seems forced.

Usually Anne looks flawless, but here, sadly, she looks flawed. That hair, that make up, the way the dress is hitting her around the hemline–GHASTLY.

I don’t like the hair but for some reason it works here. Her dress is just ok so I guess her hair is the costume. I think she has a very good stylist because the photos of her on her days off….not so good.

WOW . . .what is up with her hair. If you have a high forehead do not wear your hair like this. She is all hair and teeth. Normally she looks pretty but this wrong.

Good Grief, I wonder why she looks hideous sometimes. The second photo on the top is not flattering. Looks like her features took over her face, they are much to big and scary. On the other hand, she doesn’t look like that in live action. She’s actually rather pretty. The dress doesn’t help.
