Anne Hathaway - MET Costume Institute Gala 2009

Anne Hathaway (in Marc Jacobs) works out her big bouffant hair on the red carpet at the “Model as Muse: Embodying Fashion” Costume Institute Gala at The Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York City on Monday (May 4).

The 26-year-old actress finished off her look with Pour La Victoire metallic “Bethanie” strappy platform sandals and Van Cleef & Arpels jewels including “Camelia” earrings of 5.8 carats of emeralds and diamonds, the between-the-finger “Lotus” diamond ring and the “Zip Paris Trocedero” diamond ring.

I don’t like the hair but for some reason it works here. Her dress is just ok so I guess her hair is the costume. I think she has a very good stylist because the photos of her on her days off….not so good.

I love Anything 60s & Bouffant! Some need the heigth to accentuate their face or eyes. It isn’t THAT Bouffant! I think she looks stunning!

i think she looks great. hard look to pull off but everything kind of balances it out. the crazy hair was needed to give this look more drama. she looked good!

I like Anne… However, her looks her is kinda a bit similar on previous Angelina Jolie looks.. cant remember if its an award night , because of the make up & hairdo… same as by wearing that emerald stone..

Anne H looks really gorgous b/c she is G.. Hair is a bit too high and the dress is really different in a not her best look way. altho i love the color on her.
