Jennifer Aniston hushes the crowd in the new Glaceau water brand Smartwater Ad. The ad copy reads:
– PURE SPECULATION we’re not ones to sip and tell, but Jen’s pretty into us (and our vapor distilled purity.)
Last year, Jennifer was featured on a seven-stories tall billboard for Smartwater on Sunset Boulevard in West Hollywood.
Last week, new Tom Brady Smartwater ads were also revealed showing the NFL superstar working out.

I don’t think it is very cool that she sells bottled water when it is so bad for the environment. Everyone knows this but she always seems to be a bit behind the times and also only out for herself. Why can’t she ever do anything selfless that does make money and/or promote herself?

What does Brad & Angie have to do with a bottled water ad? Nothing. Let me guess, it’s ok to promote other things that are bad for the environment, but not water bottles? I’m sure she didn’t go to the water people begging to be a spokesperson/model for their merchandise. They approached her. If someone approached me for that and wanted to pay me to do it, I would and so wouldn’t you. The problem is you don’t have the nerve to admit it. Why we even picking on this woman? Leave her alone. She has the right to do what she wants just as the rest of us do. How do we know she is naked? Is it a nude ad? So what. Is it really air brushed? So what. Anyone who has been to a beach knows the sort of rubbish that water bottles make. It’s completely environmentally UNSOUND. Check any environmental website and they will give you the same information about bottled water - both the bottles - which are plastic and environmentally unsound but also:

(1) the gas required to ship the bottled water from factory to shop to home

(2) the environmental unfriendliness of manufacturing the plastic bottles.

But I’m absolutely against bottled water except in cases when you are out and about and you just have to buy water. Even then, usually, I recycle the bottle a several times by bringing refilling it with tap water.

I was on a beach recently doing a community clean up and the amount of plastic that gets washed up on the beach is frightening.

And this dumbwater isnt even mineral water like Evian or Perrier. Its tap water to which they added some vitamins.

I know lots of people believe in consuming vitamins but the reality is that if you eat a properly - balanced meals with lots of fruit, vegetables, nuts and whole grains plus some animal protein (OK I know some vegetarians are going to dispute this but I’m gonna write animal proteins because I firmly believe that humans are omnivores or we would have the digestive system of a cow or rabbit), then there is no need to supplement with vitamins.

A study (sorry, can’t remember the link) showed that tomatoes are rich in anti-oxidants. But it showed that the subjects derived more benefits eating the entire tomato - then in taking antioxidants in capsule form containing extracts of the same tomato anti oxidants. It seems that the packaging in which we consume our vitamins matter as much as the vitamin itself - if we are talking about being able to digest the stuff and benefit from it.
I do have to agree with the anti-bottled water comments. I wish she - and other celebs I like - would pick environmentally friendly products to endorse instead of things like bottled water, etc.

Thing is, what is it about reusing the thin bottles which cause release of toxic chemicals. Is it the re-using or is it the aging of the bottle? So, if the release of toxic chemicals is due to aging of the bottle then, if you bought a bottle of water and it sat on the shelf for 6 months, should you throw it out? Haven’t had time to look at the studies but will try to do so some time this week.

How are you doing? The show was so funny, I also love Jimmy Fallon.
Jen started speaking with Jimmy, she then went behind his desk and wanted to be the host of the show so Jimmy played her.. It was really funny, her questions and his answers.. They both had a lot of fun.. Jen actually can make it big as a talk show host , that’s how much I enjoyed her, but Jimmy was also wonderful. Jen did a little mimicking about David Letterman, and the way he acts, with his laugh and throwing the cards.. They also were bowling with grape fruit and water bottle as pins.
lara can’t get to see some clips by punching in his name on the web.. Jimmy Fallon shows, that’s all I did..
Well if you can’t I thought the clips were great..I didn’t get to watch the show b/c I’m always on call to leave ..Actually I didn’t even know it was on until you just told me.. Thanks

I used to be a fan, but I had really hoped she would wake up and stop pitching the bottled water. It is so bad for the environment - not sure how anyone can support her when she is such a bad example.

Of all the bottled water I’ve tasted(and I hate buying water, but sometimes I’ve got no choice), SmartWater tastes the best.
She got naked for a water commercial? I’m not saying she is, but the photo gives that impression; i’m thinking that’s on purpose. I really wouldn’t have known it was her without the caption. The photoshopping has gotten out of control.

I was able to watch Jen on Jimmy Fallon last night. I’am glad you seen it,because I was going to tell you all about it. It really was good,wasn’t it ellie’? She has such a great sense of humor. Jimmy was delighted to have her on his show. I taped the part of Jen. She looked beautiful too.

You can really tell that she wears blue contacts in that first photo of the ad. The darker brown rim of her actual color is so visible. I wonder if they’ll correct that in later ads.
To the haters…. At least Jen Aniston is promoting water and light-hearted films instead of the violent roles chosen by the mother of the six kids who are fed donuts for breakfast and shuttled from one city and country to another which will create a lack of stability in their lives as time progresses.

Come on, even you must admit that the only reason why she showed up to the oscars this year was because she wanted to exploit the triangle and draw publicity to herself. Or conveniently have the paps photograph Sculfor, Mayer or her ex Mother in law coming/going from her home. actually, after checking these smartwater pix, for the ‘dark rims around her contacts’, I noticed that her lips are pressed open, under her finger, resulting in a very unnatural pouty look. who says sshhhhh like that? …..no-one! it’s just not done!….except by jen, trying to look full lipped (like you-know-who). God it’s obvious that she’s trying to compete with AJ. just about everything she does (except actually DO humanitarian work) is to one-up on ange; including trying to look anges age, (she only succeeds in looking desperate) be a sultry sex-pot (which she will never do as well as ange, who is a natural) says she’s going to adopt (but never WILL, I betcha! - and ange has adopted 3 so far, plus had 3 bios) she has evolved over the years into the sex-pot (and why not? most others do too - but ange has ALWAYS been a unique eye catcher - sorry, but just look at the pix of HER when she was young, she’s not changed a lot. love her, or hate her, she’s always had IT) I think I understand what drives jen, now. If they are’nt set-ups, then why are these relationships not lasting?….because she doen’t want them to. ‘cos if she’s got a man and kids, people won’t be able to say ‘poor jen, she’s so SWEET’, and she relies on this mix of the sweet sexpot to get even more publicity, and therefore more money for her to feed her ego, which in turn, will make her feel good. all the other celebs that have been cheated on (e.g. for 1, uma thurman plus countless others, just get on with their lives) sadly, jen will be forever stuck in this triangle of brad, ange and jen even though she tells us that she’s getting on with her life, but she’s NOT. she was very publicly humiliated and I know I for one would be a cot case if it happened to me. reports are that ’she dumped brad’, so at least in that, she can save SOME face, but it really hurts, particularly when another woman is involved (I know - and there IS a lot of self doubt and embarrassment involved) - I just wish that she’d be HERSELF, because underneath that facade is a very strong (and talented - she’s great at comedy) woman. I think she takes herself too seriously. We’re told how she likes to keep her life private. but we’re seeing her continuously on the screen, in the mags, flogging s****water, keeping her publicity wheels turning., making money. It’s probably true what they say about comedians, they’re usually very ‘down’ people when the spotlight’s off. Tony Hancock, Peter Sellers were 2 that I can think of straight away. In fact I think Hancock eventually killed himself. anyway, I think that jen should just retire gracefully from public life, but she can’t because fame is a drug, and she’s got a habit, real bad.

Almost all such babies have blue eyes because the iris has not yet made brown pigment (called melanin) that colors the iris. It is, however, common for babies to have blue eyes at 2 weeks. Usually, the iris doesn’t make enough melanin until about 3 years of age. So their eye color can change. I don’t know but it seems that she may have started with blue eyes as a child but at one point of her life they seemed to have turned brown. Why all the fuss about them actually being brown and her wearing contact million do it why can’t her fans except that she wears them and dyes her hair blonde?

Sad to see Jennifer hawking a product that is recognized worldwide for being bad for the environment. I see these ads with her photo and translate “smartwater” into “wastewater.” You’d think her agent would have steered her clear of this project.
