Madonna - 2009 MET Costume Gala
Madonna (in Louis Vuitton) dons an interesting hairpiece as she walks the red carpet at the “Model as Muse: Embodying Fashion” Costume Institute Gala at The Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York City on Monday (May 4).
Justin Timberlake, Kate Moss, Marc Jacobs and Anna Wintour will host the annual gala to raise money for the organization.
The 50-year-old’s legal team had a hearing with the Malawi Supreme Court of Appeal today in her bid to adopt a girl from the country.

Can someone remind this woman how old she is? shes still trying to dress like shes in her 20’s. Shes got an amazing body and looks fab for 50 but, enough is enough lady. She can still wear hot clothes and look stunning, for sure its not by wearing this… crap shes wearing

@angierox: ugh! thank you! that’s what i’m saying! i don’t even think it’s the outfit that bugs me so much, cuz on somebody younger who can pull it off, it would be cool. i think it’s the fact that she refuses to dress for her age and as a result, she comes off looking like some heinous white trash cougar.

If you can’t be the most beautiful, go for the strangest, although I think she would say she is Avant-Garde. Madonna, who would have thought you’re next transformation would be as comedienne. I seriously think she is being serious here. Which makes it not so funny as pathetic. But I doubt she cares.
The Wicked Witch of the World probably gets good television reception with her teal antenna. WOW! She is taking dreadful to a whole new level.
Hell, Madonna can dress any way she likes…. She has always taken risks with fashion. And she still keeps herself looking fierce. Anyone who thinks a friggen number -50- is going to stop her, should look the other direction. Get over it. She isn’t going anywhere. She still clearly has more drive and vitality than 99% of people in the world. She is an inspiration for everyone to just get up, make the best of your life and yourself, and have a little fun. Damn.

yes we know thigh highs are in style, but she could have done without is…and she could have done better with this lv dress. gah. definate miss tonight. lol. not surprising though, so if it was for some sort of factor she doesn’t get the carrot. i hope she had fun getting dressed up for all the world to see though :P.
