Its OK to make fashion statements sometimes, but NOT this. This is absolutely HORRIBLEEEE! Her hair, her makeup the outfit, everything is wrong.

This girl has got to get back in the game. She has looked awful since the whole CB thing.

It’s Haute Couture people. I love the Tux, I love her hair and make-up, but not together. I think if the jacket were cut shorter or cut in a different style in the front (maybe 18th century-ish) it would work, but because the jacket is straight, it swallows her up.

i haven’t seen everything yet. i am going back on the pages looking to see if you have the victoria beckham dress, but really i would say out of all the people with the entire LOOK she’s the one who hit it. SHOW STOPPER. she got the strong shoulders, the poof, the v pants. yeah. the fabric not so much but the actual style of the entire look was good. GO D&G!!! i mean this one and maybe anne’s dress but her hair doesn’t go with the dress as a look so rihanna wins.

i like her and all but it looks like a football player uniform the way the shoulders arms are and thats a designers clothes the designer should feel embarrased making something tha weird like that 0_o

My personal opinion (I hold an AA degree in fashion design), is that a full cut Leg O’ Mutton sleeve should be balanced by an overall tighter fit of the garment and general upper silhouette. The jacket has semi-feminine sleeves but a masculine cut, in my opinion. The flared cuffs on the ends are not working for me. The masculine racer gloves are too much. With all due respect to the House of Dolce & Gabbana, and full acknowledgment that their name and fashion designers are far bigger and more important than my name will ever be, I none the less do not like this look on Rihanna. She’s a very stunning and beautiful young woman. As a singer and an entertainer, I know she can handle high fashion, but I would personally put her in something more feminine.

The above sketch is my own, and it’s meant to be my own reinterpretation of what Dolce & Gabbana have designed. If the Leg O’ Mutton sleeves are going to be the focal point of the ‘look’ or of the garment, that’s fine. When the entire outfit becomes the focal point, it becomes too much and too strong, in my opinion.
