What a scumbag! What kind of woman would have an affair with a married man with 8 little kids?

WOW!! I don’t know if this is true or not, but if so, it was only a matter of time. I have watched the show for the last year and a half, and I didn’t like Kate from the start. She is so rude, she treats Jon like a child not like her husband, and she cares more about how clean the house is than anything else. Did you see the show when she hired someone to play with her kids while she cleaned house…you would think she would’ve hired someone to clean and Kate play with the kids. I think he should have left her before cheating on her, I don’t agree with cheating. I don’t think someone deserves being cheated on, but then I could see why he would. I like the comment on here about Kate’s hair, it really is stupid looking isn’t it. I can’t stand the long front and the short hair sticking up on top and in the back. Who’s to say Kate hasn’t cheated on him while she’s so busy “promoting” her books. She has drasticly changed her appearance since I first started watching. She went from sweats and fair skinned to dressy clothes and being tan. Jon said on the last show of the seaon that he didn’t want to do the show anymore, but she loved what she was doing. She just loves the money and what it can buy her, like their new mansion. She seems like she has become so money hungry. She said at the end of that show that they would talk about it, but you know he never has a say so in anything, she has to rule the household. But you know money doesn’t buy happiness. If she was any kind of wife she would truly consider Jon’s feelings about doing the show and it’s effects on the whole family. I guess she is just willing to put her family on the line for the love of money. The whole coupon thing is ridiculous, they have loads of money, what’s the big deal about using coupons when you have that much money. Did you see the time Jon bought the shower head thing without a coupon, she treated him like he was an idiot on that show, well she does that on about every show doesn’t she. Who is watching the kids while she’s out traveling promoting her books and Jon’s out drinking in bars? I know she hired a babysitter for the kids (I saw it on this past season show, she babysits and dog sits), maybe another typical celebrity……dump your kids on the nanny and go do whatever you want. I agree that he should be able to have friends, but what man leaves his kids at home and his wife and goes and hangs with a woman friend at bars drinking with no ring on…….sounds fishy to me. You know most men say “we’re just friends” when they are having affairs. If they are such great friends how come she’s never been seen on the show before. I know as a wife I would NEVER think it was ok for my husband to go to bars drinking with a “girl’ friend. If he felt like this was ok then something is obviously wrong in their relationship. Maybe the reason for the kids not being allowed to step foot in their parents room (which by the way is absolutley STUPID) is because Jon isn’t there and they don’t want the kids to know. Who knows maybe this whole thing is a stunt to boost their ratings for season 5 (that Jon doesn’t want to do), cause you know it will, and you know what that means…………more money for Kate!!!!!!!!! Maybe we should all do Jon a favor and STOP WATCHIING THE SHOW SO IT WILL GET CANCELLED!!!!!!!!! How great would that be!!

people need to shut up about this because these so called allegations are NOT TRUE.

Its funny how some of the women posters complain Jon doesn’t do his share. I’d hate to be married to them also as they have blinders on about what men traditionally do. Remember Jon was the breadwinner the first two years. He also did all the renovations, repairs, cars and all other manly chore duties of a husband. He could not share these duties if he wanted to because Kate and most women are not able to do them. Men and women are different if you haven’t notice and each are best suited for different roles in a family. I hope he didn’t have the affair and I’m thinking he didn’t unless he was attempting to hide it in plain sight.

Are you serious. I bet all you who have commented do not have children. Take care of multiple children all day long and let’s see how your mental status is. I have two close in age and sometimes I think I am going crazy. I tend to lash out too out of frustration. I think Kate is like any other mother out there. She is just on camera for others to see. Get all the facts before you post things and sound inconsiderate.

oh pleeze!…..I’m soooo tired of hearing about poor Jon getting yelled at all the time……he’s a loser - that’s why he’s getting yelled at, he’s lazy a makes more trouble than help….I’d be yelling too if this was my partner…..he couldn’t hold a job - (see former boss story) & he’s always been a pretty hard drinker….& just walks around whinning or with some blank “duh” on his face! He has the personality of a tree stump! She has been making him look good….there’s just so much you can do before a losers true nature comes through!
Kate works her butt off around there…..why do you think those kids are so bright, and healthy…..it sure isn’t because of Jon’s efforts!!!

I hope this isn’t true. I enjoy watching this show. Yes, Kate can be stern with Jon but he doens’t seem like the brightest, so I think she has to be. She is home all day with 8 kids!! It’s enough to make anyone crabby! I like Kate and think she is an amazing mother!!!! I give her a lot of credit! I think 8 kids has gotten to Jon…do I believe what is being said….Yes! I hope Kate can face reality as well. Jon doesn’t deal with responsibility well and this is his way of getting away from it…..a break. Grow up Jon…..You’re nothing great to look at and you should be thankful that you have Kate

This media frenzy is such a sad commentary on life. Jon & Kate Plus 8 started out as a typical American family adjusting to having a family of multiples. For the first few years, we saw a close-knit, loving, family unit. Now that Jon is not working, we see a man reliving his teenage years. Instead of Kate being a homemaker, wife, & matriarch of the home, we view a woman hiring others to be surrogate mothers to her children while she is away from the family.
Perhaps this family needs to go back to the beginning, where Jon worked-providing for his growing family and being a real man with a sense of responsibility, accomplishment, and maturity; and Kate was a true mother - nurturing and guiding her young children through the trials, tribulations, and triumphs of childhood, making their house a ‘real’ home filled with love and memories.
The old adage, “While the cat’s away, the mice do play…,” rings true here. Or is it “While the rat’s on the prowl, the cat will howl???”
Hopefully, these two parents will return to their senses, and their home, before it is too late for their beautiful children. Security and serenity are worth much more than sordid sex, scandal, and senseless divorce.

I think it’s a publicity stunt! Too many shows coming out with the same story… big family’s, etc. They are losing viewers and they are probably just trying to recapture the interest of those who stopped watching their show.

I think everyone just needs to leave them alone before the kids get hurt this could be a hole nother princess diana with everyone following them just to get pics.. To make money, you need to stop and think this could really harm the kids they didnt ask for this it not their fault that they are on tv. God bless those kids im not worried about jon and kate they brougt this on themselves
