Wassamatta, Jared, no new thread today? No new pics of Fugly walking down the street showing off a new pair of flip-flops? No pics of Fugly chowing down on a chicken salad or taking a dump? No pics of her blow-drying her hair? We’re all waiting with bated breath.

I bet you give that advice to all women? ‘You should have fought for him, even though he beat your ass’? You probably tell women to get pregnant so as to keep your man. Geez.
A real woman doesn’t need a man to define her worth. She’s holding her own just fine thanks very much. She was secure and dignified enough to let him go because he was having some mid-life identity crisis. It’s called being MATURE and ADULT. That takes courage.

And clearly the man can’t think for himself, and thus has to be a serial monogamist because his women define his personality. He changes his personality to fit his women - have you not noticed that? Who the hell needs that?

I say good riddance. Jen had him in his good years. Time to find a man with more substance, and while you’re looking have some fun playing the field :)

I would be so curious to know exactly how those 2 ended. But I think I know what happened, Jen went and filed for divorce probably thinking Brad was gonna contest it or come crawling back to her. Since a lot of times people file for divorce just to get the other persons attention. But what happened was Brad didn’t care that she filed and he didn’t come crawling back to her. And that was her big wake up call right there. It finally hit her She’s not the hot lovable chick that she thinks she is. And everyone else noticed it too. Anyways that just my thoughts.

who knows what happened? But I’ve never heard of that tactic being used (at least in hollywood) and it working. So illuminate me if you have an example of a hollywood couple that that has happened with. Because, when celebrities file for divorce, it seems pretty permanent.

I do think though that Aniston had no idea the extent to which the relationship between pitt and jolie had progressed though. I guess she must have been shocked as much as the rest of the world was…

whatevs… crap happens yes? as long as you can move forward. (lol - clearly some of us here can’t).

It happened with Charlie Sheen and Denise Richards the first time and it also happened with SEan Penn and his wife. And Pink is getting back with her husband also Travis Barker and his wife or ex-wife seem to get back together all the time. In case you dont know there is a significant amount of people who reconcile after filing for divorce. Also didn’t Britney Spears also file for divorce from Kevin but from what I hear she’s the one wanting to get back with him. A lot of times the one who does the filing is actually trying to get the others attention. Its a big gamble that people use.

yeah but how’s that a tactic? Denise and Charlie are no longer together, neither is Penn adn Robin Wright. Pink and what’s his name got back together after a while. And Britney and K-Fed is just tabloids - so who the hell knows with them.
However, it still doesn’t make sense why that would be a tactic. I mean the majority of divorces that have occurred in hwood (which is A LOT) didn’t end up with couples coming back together, so the success rate is kind of crap. Why bother do it in the first place? Right? why would you risk it, if there is a possibility that it might not end up with you getting back together? I mean Jen ain’t stupid, and it’s a stretch calling her devious - she doesn’t have that kind of track record.

AND - I’ve officially joined the loony club with my gazillion posts. I study all day and this was my break which ran a little too long :)

ONe things definately for sure Brad’s never going back to Jen he’s got way too many kids with Angie and I just dont see someone like Jennifer ever playing step mother to Shiloh and Zahara that would be too outrageous. Bridges have definately been burned in this case. His bond with Angie is way stronger than his short marriage to Jen.
