Rihanna hides underneath her camouflage hoodie while leaving her hotel in downtown New York City on Friday morning (May 8). She wore the same sneakers to the airport a few weeks ago.
Last night, the 21-year-old singer attended the DKMS Gala in NYC to honor 6-year-old Isabelle Huurman, who has pleaded publicly to find her best friend, leukemia patient Jasmina Anema, a bone marrow transplant.
At the event, she teared up while sharing: “I am so honored to be here to present the ‘Links of Love’ award to Isabelle for all she has done for her best friend. Thank you, Isabelle. Isabelle has spent time with Jasmina, and you’re right — she is awesome and absolutely worth fighting for. I also have to say she is lucky to have you. You’re an incredible best friend. And best friends are very, very, very important, the kind that we all would be lucky to have. You rock, Isabelle! Come up here!”

Ever since the Chris Brown incident, her style has been great, until the past week where she has been in NYC. I haven’t really liked any of her outfits other than possibly two.

She hasn’t told anyone it’s okay for your boyfriend to beat you. She did not make herself a role model. She is a young girl trying to live her life and trying to deal with situations as they arise in her life. At 21, she does not have the answers to all the situations she confronts and she is trying to cope with what life hands her. She is learning as she goes. People need to use their own mothers and aunts as role models and leave young 21 year old girls to grow up.

The reason there are so many posts about her is because of the bias of the webmaster. Even if she got 10 comments, he’d still post about incessantly. That was pretty evident when he moved the time of her MET Gala post to keep her on the front page for over 15 hours.
Rihanna hasn’t outright told anyone it’s ok to beat your gf but actions can speak louder than words. Her sneaking around with Chris did send a bad message to the young girls who look up to her. Ideally, people should admire their parents and community leaders, but it doesn’t work that way with youths and whether she likes it or not, Rihanna is perceived as a role model by young women.
