Hilary Duff Talks ‘What Goes Up’

Hilary Duff goes grocery shopping at Whole Foods supermarket after a work-out at the gym in Los Angeles on Friday (May 8).

The 21-year-old actress next stars as Lucy in What Goes Up, a film about a morally challenged New York reporter (Steve Coogan) who learns life lessons from a group of dysfunctional students (Duff, Josh Peck, Olivia Thirlby) while covering the hometown hoopla surrounding the first teacher in space. What Goes Up will open in select theaters on May 29. Check Hilary talk about the movie below!

I’ve got to agree. Hilary shouldn’t be wearing that outfit. Leggings are not pants. and a cami is not a shirt. She looks like a trailor piece of crap. and she’s alil chub chub. Cant deny it. ANd if u look closely she is hideous in the face. YUCKKK. in 2007 she looked good. Now she looks like a spit out disney star. Which ironically is exactly what she is. Except most disney stars give up and get a 9to5 job but not hilary. She keeps spittin out crap movies that no one watches except lizzie maguire fans. Pathetic.

I don’t know what most of you are saying are we looking at the same pics? She looks good to me, her arms as just got bigger but she’s always has had big arms. She looks happy and healthy so thats good enough for me and she will always be a beautiful girl.

I think she actually looks prettier without the makeup. More natural looking. And I love the fact that she hasn’t gone out of her way to make her self sad and anorexic like some other stars. Hilary looks AMAZING! She’s beautiful and seems like a real nice person. I don’t see how anyone can poke fun at her!!!!

Wasn’t she wearing the black cami and tights after working out? I mean, honestly, she was coming from the gym - cut her some slack.

I agree she gained some weight - but it’s not that big of a deal. She’s still gorgeous, and I hope she continues to work on movies that will challenge her to improve and expand upon her acting skills.

Hilary was more glamorous when she was skinnier. I have the Shape magazine where she’s on the cover and she has those amazing abs. I don’t think she has that definition any more. She’s too chubby now.
