Wish they’d just finished the show now - OTH without Chad is doomed to fail. He’s the main cast member and definitely the best actor on the show.

I hate LEYTON a full! I don’t think about If this show lose ratings b/c they’re leaving the show. This tv serie have a lot of Naley fans, and the people loves Brooke so much too. I hate CMM since always, and is true, that the 5, 6 seasons are boring, but.. why? Because are ALL LEYTON.
I was thinking, what this show would be named (seasons 5,6) LEYTON HILL, not one tree hill.
Naley and Brooke are no boring! But Mark wants to have a Naley-marriage only. To be booring, If Nate had the fight, If Haley’s not teacher anymore. Is not fair. They need to have more action!

Well, they kind of got a happy end, sort of. We’ll see next week if Peyton survives. But I don’t think so. My guess is that Peyton dies, and Lucas follows his mum with the baby.

I think it’s bad for the show that Chad and Hilarie are leaving. According to a video posted on Hilarie’s blog she said she left out of free will (if I remember correctly).
I didn’t hear from Chad if he wanted to go. It just seems strange. He gave up his role on Gilmore Girls for OTH. Why leave? Maybe he really doesn’t want to play Lucas anymore, that’s fine by me. But if he was forced out, ie for money issues, that’s not ok. I mean he really is the main character if you look back on 6 years.
On the other side, a few shows survived losing their lead character, like Charmed lost Shannen Doherty (but she actually got replaced by another). Thinking about it, doesn’t Jullian look a little like Lucas?!
i thought Bethany was going too, you know, always saying she’s missing her real-life husband. Looks like to me she stays for another season, maybe getting a bit more money for staying?

Coming to an end, I hope the show doesn’t drown. It should have an appropriate ending for beeing on air for 7 (or maybe more years)! And who knows, maybe both of them guest star (or just Lucas if Peyton dies ;)

Me too. I like more Austin/Julian than CMM/Lucas.
I hope that the next season will be more interesting. I hate all that stuff about to be adults. This show needs more action, drama and be more funnier now! With Leyton all was drama. Always.

idc what anyone says, without luke and p. sawyer practically make the show….like i cant even imagine watching one episode w/o them in it. idk, hopefully this is just a rumor, but if this is true, they should end the show with everyone leaving. but who knows? maybe even w/ L&P gone, the show may still be a hit.

i think this news is bitter sweet.
i love chads character, but hilarie’s is too needy since the beginning it was suppose to be chad and sophia together at least on the show but after thier divorce they cut them off completely and now the barely speak.

Hey if they want to leave let them! I admit I was sad at first, but their story is basically finished. I wish them both the best. I am happy about Austin though because I adore him. I wonder what the 2 new characters are going to be like. Oh well may they find other projects that they like. This show wasn’t only about them.

I couldn’t care less. Have never watched the show.
