Up — FIRST REVIEWS!

Pixar’s 3D Up will be the first animated opening film in Cannes history and rightfully so. Check our some early reviews of the flick, out May 29.

The Hollywood Reporter: “Winsome, touching and arguably the funniest Pixar effort ever, the gorgeously rendered, high-flying adventure is a tidy 90-minute distillation of all the signature touches that came before it.”

Roger Ebert: “this is a wonderful film. It tells a story… [Director Peter Docter's] whole film is an oblique rebuke to those who think action heroes have to be young.”

Time: Extending the patented Pixar mix of humor and heart, Up is the studio’s most deeply emotional and affecting work.

I saw the first 45 minutes of the film a few months ago and I’m dying to see the second half. Dying. Up is going to be my fave Pixar movie ever, I just know it!

My little guy has been waiting impatiently to see this one for months. We are going to be taking him opening weekend. It looks terrific.

I don’t know if anything can beat Wall-E. the first 1/2 hr -45 minutes all you heard was his gears and beeps and yet you FELT him. He didn’t need to talk you knew what he was about. Not many humans in speaking roles hold my attention like that little robot did.

Ive already seen this movie and all i can say is WOW
My dad id 55 yrs old and even he said it was the best movie his seen.
It is really worth watcing. it made me cry but just because the movie was sad doesnt mean its a bad one. Its funny, touching and sad.!!
i couldbrag about all day ifi eanted to.
I enjoyed it!!!
