OlderChristian Bale Premieres Terminator Salvation
Christian Bale gets the support of his wife Sibi Blazic at the premiere of his new flick, Terminator Salvation at Grauman’s Chinese Theatre on Thursday (May 14) in Hollywood.
ComingSoon.net recently asked the 35-year-old British actor: “You’ve been an actor a lot longer than you’ve been a star. With the TMZ culture, are you concerned about it distracting people from your character onscreen? Does it distract from your performance?”
Bale’s response: “Not for me it doesn’t because I don’t know what things are being said of gossipy stuff. My life is much happier when I ignore that. As for other people, that’s their choice. If they want to embrace that then they’re probably going to sacrifice enjoyment in the movies. I really believe that, but it’s their choice if that’s what they love looking at. I don’t get it, but it is what it is.”

good luck for the movie. i’m def gonna watch it.
I’m sure it will be a good film to watch. Im predicting it will be as good as the other Terminator movies but I’m not sure it will be overall as good a movie as Velvet Goldmine, Batman Begins or anything as magical and exciting as ‘Howl’s Moving Castle’. To be honest its not really my favourite kind of movie but I’ll give it a watch all the same as the cast seem up to scratch. Good to see Bale and Co. back at work at the movies!
they look great together. people really need to stop bashing because of one silly clip of him. i do prefer him without his moustache etc. but he still looks good.
Whatever you do, don’t walk in front of Christian while he’s trying to watch the movie. But if you do, make sure you’ve got a recorder on, ’cause the tirade will probably be legendary. Can’t wait to see this movie. Hey, Tom Cruise, THIS is what a movie star looks like.
I respect Christian for not being a famewhore like Tom Cruise and Hugh Jackman!

He looks really good here. I love how he and his wife never overdress for these events. Always low key and lets the movie take centerstage. The movie looks great and can’t wait to see it.
@38 I don’t see Hugh Jackman as famewhore. I think he just enjoys promoting his movies. Maybe it’s because he is very likeable and was everywhere for Wolverine that it comes across that way. I agree that Tom Cruise is though. He never seems to promote his movies, only himself. I can’t see a picture of him without thinking how crazy he appears to be.
With Nolan working with DiCaprio Nolan will forget about Bale and will get amaze with the true talent he’s got like Leo.
Christian Bale is so wooden an actor.

got no class? i don’t even know how you got that. BUT he’s got something more important - INTEGRITY. he doesn’t pretend to be anything but himself. He doesn’t pretend to be nice, pretend to defer to fans every whim or wish or what the public expects of him, yet at the same time he respects what fans cherish (Batman, Terminator) because I guess he believes in it too. He truly is an ACTOR vs Celebrity - he cares deeply about his work. AND he’s got the talent to back it up. and THAT is why he’s sexy. (he’s pretty hot too:)
