OlderBristol Palin: Graduation Girl!
Bristol Palin, wearing a necklace of Blow-Pop lollipops, picks up her high school diploma as she walks across the stage at Wasilla Sports Complex in Wasilla, Alaska on Thursday night (May 14).
“I knew it would be hard work, but I knew I was going to do it,” Bristol, 19, tells People.
Bristol, whose mom is Alaska Gov. Sarah Palin, was “point zero-zero-something” away from graduating with Honors (she had a 3.497 G.P.A.). She says she hopes to go to an area college for a two-year business degree and then a job, possibly in real estate.

Not that I truly believe this minute statement will make that much of an impact on all of your minds, but:
1. Just because someone lives in some other part of a country doesn’t mean she is white trash. That is impossibly inaccurate. Let me just say that those in my family that are above 20 at average makes above 70,000 a year, all of which grew up in Wasilla, Alaska.
2. For those that say that no one cares, you read this article, (or you just shut your eyes and ignore anything she or anyone else you dislike for that matter, does and goes on your close minded flagrant tirade) if you don’t care than there is alot of other useful reading material on the internet for you. For some reason you clicked on this.
Haha, I can’t wait until she declares Democrat.

And, lol, sorry, she graduated two years late at 19. No wonder she is going to a two-year (most likely vocational) school.

Congrats! At least she graduated! A lot of teen mothers don’t. I hope she goes on to achieve her goals and continue to support her son.

I’m sure it’s just as difficult to graduate when you’ve got your rich mom and dad supporting you as it is for the average teenage girl who gets pregnant.
yES. BUT A WHOLE LOT DIFFERENT,when you have no where to live and do not know where your next meal is coming from. It is a whole lot easier with rich, influential parents who have to support you, cause you got pregnant in their home!!! Role model?-Come Off It another lot of hypocrital christians!!!

I have 4 friends who got pregnant in the past twos. 2 yrs. and 2 gave them up for adoption and the other two got abortions. None of them graduated at any age.
So once again i am very proud of you Ms. Bristol Palin.

No matter how you look at these stories, there is nothing attractive about irresponsibility and discarding one’s youth to become parents when you remain children yourself. After all the press about the pregnancy, her political, narcissistic, and ignorant mother wasn’t going to let her not complete her basic education. This girl and the rest of her siblings and, particularly, the Down Syndrome baby are simply political props for their mother. She carried that baby on stage like he was simply a rag doll.
How sad that such a smart young woman is going to waste her life away in real estate in Wasilla.
Yes, I’m sure her life is a piece of cake. The whole nation calling her and Mom names and Levi and his family with all their drama. Being the butt of every late night joke and a baby that needs attention every two hours. I saw her on Greta and she’s living in her Granma’s spare room with the ironing board. I’m sure the Palins see to it that their daughter and grandchild’s basic needs are met, but make it EASY, I highly doubt it. I can hear Sarah say, you had a baby at 17, YOU need to take care of it and we love you and help.

Technically, Sarah Palin didn’t “run” for Vice President, she was selected by John “I was a prison in the Hanoi Hilton so now it’s my turn” McCain. And it was a stunt to stop the steam roller that was the Barack “Different wrapping same package” Obama campaign. We’re reduced to congratulating a girl, who supposedly comes from this amazing family with strong values, for graduating high school? Her mother couldn’t have set too good example if the girl got knocked up in the first place. Hey, what’s done is done, and teens will be teens. I guess you can only hunt so many wolves, and dress so many moose, or race so many snow mobiles. Boy, the bar for young people in this country to get over just keep getting lower and lower.

Not sure how much different it would be with John McCain but Sarah clearly NOT IN THE CLUB, she clearly played to win and didn’t get the memo that it was the black guys turn.
Obama ran for president for two years and still can’t even make a simple introduction without a telepromter and he even still screws it up. Sarah Palin had THREE days and blew the socks off the Republican base. In days, Sarah could draw tens of thousands and that scared the crap out of both the powers in the Repub and Dem parties. You do realize it all ONE party, don’t you?
To compare Bristol Palin to Barack’s mother isn’t valid. 1. It was an interracial coupling at a time when it wasn’t just frowned upon, when she got pregnant and it could literally get you killed. 2. In todays day and age, there a little bit more info on birth control, and personal responsibility and such. 3. You said that Sarah would tell Bristol, in so many words, “you made your bed, now lie in it. We’ll help you any way we can.” Do you think that Michelle O wouldn’t do the same for Sasha if she were in that predicament. Sarah Palin isn’t who the haters think she is, and isn’t who her supporters believe her to be. Nobody ever is.

Easy, Mom. I’m not RePUBElican and I sure as **** ain’t no DemocRAT. You’re talking to somebody who’s calling out to Eat The Rich! I was laughing at each and every Presidential candidate who was being propped up by their party. As for “The Black Guys” turn. The Clinton machine nearly shredded the Obama campaign, but they wee too inept to handle pressure he put on them. He ran a brilliant ground game for electoral votes. And yes, sadly, it is a game.Call Obama what you will, but his campaign pulled the wool over everybody’s eyes and I commend him for it. It was brilliant. And it just reinforces my view about politics, the media, white liberal guilt, white conservative fear, and how easily people are fooled when you tell them, not just what they want to hear, but what they THINK they want to hear.
