Eva Longoria (in Versace Atelier) attends the Bright Star premiere with her husband, basketball star Tony Parker, held at the Palais Des Festivals during the 2009 Cannes Film Festival on Friday (May 15) in Cannes, France.
Period drama Bright Star synopsis: Poet John Keats (Ben Whishaw) has a three year secret love-affair with the girl next door named Fanny Brawne (Abbie Cornish) which was cut short by his death at age 25.

As usual, Eva over-dresses for an event. Yes, over dressed. If you are not promoting a movie at Cannes you shouldn’t be wearing a dramatic dress as this one. Not saying she doesn’t look pretty, but she also needs to be at least a foot taller to carry off yards and yards of fabric like that.

Dress is beautiful but it is NOT for her. The dress is wearing her! Someone tall like Charize Theron would’ve rocked the dress. She tries too hard and it shows. Her 15 min. is up.

impressive…but doesn’t it look like she is dragging along a giant tissue and/or napkin? you know, one of those folded ones they put on your table in one of those fancy restaurants.
i seriously dont get celebrities like her. she has nothing to do with the movie nor the freakin film festival.and i dont think she has anything to promote right now. the fact that she’s there flaunting her self like she is a major A lister at this event is incredibly annoying. eva is not even a good actress.
