Brad Pitt waits for his Chrysler 300 car at a parking garage in New York City on Friday (May 15).
The 45-year-old Mr. Mom and Angelina Jolie have been staying at Oyster Bay on the North Shore of Long Island while Angie shoots her new movie, Salt.
People reports that Brad’s daddy duties include dropping the kids off at school and even reading books to the children in daughter Shiloh’s class.
“[The parents in town] are off the charts excited and everyone is dolled up, ” one local reveals. “The moms are trying to look a little bit more polished. Instead of schlepping in sweat pants and messy hair, now they wear designer jeans and high heels, which they never wear. Usually it’s Tod’s or Gucci loafers. Everyone is putting a little more effort. Let’s face it – he’s a handsome guy.”

I found the ring Brad was wearing last year all the time. The gold band. You can find it in CLASSIC collection number 12. We thought it has ANGELINA’s name written in it , but it was actually DAMIANI’s mark in it. I bet most of the ring he is wearing or he has worn , we can find in Damiani’s blog. From “Sex, Lies, and Videotape” to “Traffic,” Soderbergh has made a career out of bringing gritty realism to his pictures, and he plans on taking the same approach with “Moneyball.”
“We have the dramatic building blocks, so the question is how real can we make the world?” the director asked while promoting his feature about a high-class escort, “The Girlfriend Experience.” “My clearly stated goal is to set a new standard for realism in that [sports] world.”
To that end, he’ll be recreating the bowels of Oakland Coliseum - where the A’s play - on a soundstage and filming at actual American League stadiums around the country. And since he has the cooperation of the MLB, “Moneyball” will also be able to use actual game footage from the 2002 season.
Soderbergh is also shooting for realism in his cast, which will be made up of both actors and the real-life participants. “Anybody who is not actively playing who was on the 2002 team has been approached,” he said. “We’ve got about 60 percent of them. We have [manager] Art Howe, we’ve got Rick Peterson, the pitching coach. We’ve got three-quarters of the scouts who were there. … The guys on the team we can’t get - we’re casting real people who can play and perform. We’ll have the real footage and then we’ll go to the close-up with our guy in it, and it should be seamless,” the director explained.
Baseball has always been a rich subject for filmmakers, but Soderbergh holds one movie in particularly high esteem. ” ‘Bull Durham’ is the model for most baseball fans in terms of behavior and storytelling,” he said. “It seems the most lifelike. But I want to do something that’s even more immersive. I’m standing on the shoulders of [director] Ron Shelton. That was his contribution to the genre. Now it’s my turn.”

Pitt, who stars in Quentin Tarantino’s World War II drama ‘Inglorious ********’, is expected to walk the red carpet at the French film festival soon.
But like the responsible veteran that she is, she’s said that being a jury member her primary focus would be on the films and despite her open admiration for the actor she would not initiate any meeting.
When she was asked whether she was looking forward to meet the 45-year-old actor, she simply said, “I am not hankering to meet anyone else except my jury members. Unless he (Pitt) meets me and we really have a chat or something”.
Yes, they could sure have some intellectual talk about cinema, Mumbai-Pune which Pitt visited during the shoot of ‘The Mighty Heart’ and the like. This could sure end up as one interesting meeting.

Brad was at the Mercer Kitchen as late as 3:00. SInce no one commented on it, he obviously wasn’t dining with a recognizable face. Philippe Starck is a good guess. Starck is the designer of one of my faves - the Ghost Chair. I WILL have one. He designs interiors of homes and commercial places as well as all kinds of products such as furniture, motor bikes, an optical mouse for Microsoft, household items for Target, etc.

The now way Brad could have arrived in France “last night”. Maybe the French refer to the wee hours of early morning as “last night”. IF Brad went immediately to the airport after these pix were taken - say 3pm, it’s a 6 hour flight to France. That would make it 9pm our time and 3am in France. In my mind 3am is NOT “last night”…but I live in the middle of Missouri. Somebody in NYC or France may consider 3am “last night”.

I won’t be doing a tab report on it, so I’ll just go ahead and tell this part - They’ve got this sidebar about how Brad and Bradley Cooper are alike. I just about swallowed my gum at the stupidity. I just realized I forgot to write down the review from Peeps when I was at the store earlier. Basically the guy was like - “When you take your seat check to see where there exits are…cuz you’re not going to want to see this whole movie.” He also said it was “charmless” and “meanders”…but he said X was “crisp”…whatever the hell that means. Peeps gave it a “D”.

What’s really funny though is how the other tabs handled their reviews. They don’t want to piss off the Fanistons because they’re the main buyers of their craptoids. The Star basically said the movie sucked…but then gave it 2 1/2 out of 4 stars! Lies & Shite said it was the best performance of X’s career! ROTFL! That says all there is to say about how bad an actress X is. I think it was Us that said it was mediocre and gave it 2 out of 4 stars.

I did some the other day. I was reading more of them last night and LMAO. The last time I looked at RT it was at 53% and 5.7 out of 10. It’s even worse on Metacritic - 50 out of 100. It’s not like this is a big name director taking chances and going out on a limb. It’s a nobody with a has-been cast. I honestly don’t know how anyone could have espected more.
These reviews belong in Aniston’s own thread.I wish somebody would post it there so all her adoring fans can read it.But I doubt they understand and comprehend what it means.Next is traveling,I hope it goes down the drain as hard as management.

Whenever Brad goes on a business trip even for a day the tabs write the “Brad leaves Angie” story. So don’t take what the tabs write so seriously. Also when they describe Brad and his X as the golden couple, don’t take that as gospel. Brad has always had an edge to him, but when he married JA, she dulled him down. They were not a golden couple in many, many people’s view. Just because the media writes it or speaks it doesn’t make it right. JA for all her efforts to stay in movies, does not have that something extra that makes a movie star. And I don’t know if she could handle a TV show on her own. There is a dullness there that makes people lose interest in her - so don’t buy the hype.
As for Angie, many many people have loved her since her early days despite what the media wrote and writes about her since she and Brad became a couple. Angie has not done anything more in her private life that anybody else in Hollywood - she has probably done less. But most importantly, she has always had a positive reputation for behaving professionally on set. That is what Hollywood expects - someone who is on time, is prepared and does great work. Angie was and has always been respected in Hollywood as a great actress who handles herself professionally on set. Sure there are some in the media who personally are jealous or envious or biased or prejudiced. Yet Angie’s fan base gets bigger and bigger because she has charisma, warmth, excitement, edginess, humor and lots of talent and beauty (inward and outward.) That always comes through despite what the haters write or say.
Also need to add this. Once Brad became a couple with Angie his edginess came back. His charisma again came through again. The dullness was gone.

The temperature will rise a notch to Cannes. Hey ladies, Brad Pitt has arrived!
Yesterday evening that the American actor, who came up the steps to the Palais des Festivals for the screening of the eagerly awaited Inglorious basterd of Tarantino, has set his bags at the Hotel du Cap, Cap Antibes. Unfortunately it is not accompanied by the mother of his children, Angelina Jolie. However, it may well be that the beautiful join Brad in the last moment in order to silence all the rumors and stories about their couple for some time.
In addition, Brad is not expected to remain very long time which explains why he came alone. Indeed, last year the couple had taken his quarters Angie at Cannes because there were two films (Kung-Fu Panda and Changelling). But this year, only Brad is legitimately concerned with the festival.

The little girl is playing Salt as a child in a flashback seen to her childhood in a Russian orphanage or something like that. That tidbit was in a story about a farm they were going to use because it still had snow on the ground. They were going to CGI a building into the scene in post-prod.

Exactly. I thought about that after I posted. The script ( again, the one I read) takes you through Salt’s childhood and various scenes at different ages. This will not be an easy movie to watch.

I can’t believe that Angelina won’t go to Cannes…remember they are both actors so they will play it up like they are in love. Break- up time. I really believe they are going to break-up. So the frog agreed to take the scorpion across the river. He swam over to the bank and settled himself near the mud to pick up his passenger. The scorpion crawled onto the frog’s back, his sharp claws prickling into the frog’s soft hide, and the frog slid into the river. The muddy water swirled around them, but the frog stayed near the surface so the scorpion would not drown. He kicked strongly through the first half of the stream, his flippers paddling wildly against the current.
Halfway across the river, the frog suddenly felt a sharp sting in his back and, out of the corner of his eye, saw the scorpion remove his stinger from the frog’s back. A deadening numbness began to creep into his limbs.
“You fool!” croaked the frog, “Now we shall both die! Why on earth did you do that?”
The scorpion shrugged, and did a little jig on the drownings frog’s back.
“I could not help myself. It is my nature.”

Above edited to add: I’m using Google Chrome and Firefox to surf. Chrome is very, very fast but they still have a couple of kinks to work out. Some of the bells and whistles on some web sites don’t work with Chrome yet.

Oh yeah…I’ve been waiting almost 2 months for this sucker to bomb. What makes it even more fun is that X produced this dog herself. Who knows how many financiers she blew to get funding for this thing. If Traveling ever gets released…and then bombs…and when the turkey baster movie bombs…I think that’ll pretty much be the last nail in the coffin that is X’s “movie career”. I’m sure anyone who was thinking of investing in that flick on-the-run romcom she’s trying to put together with Gerard Butler is taking a good hard look at how badly misManagement is doing at the BO and taking special note of the reviews saying X can’t carry a movie and just doesn’t have big screen presence. What’s so damned funny about that was IIRC it was Picture Perfect that X claimed when she saw it the first time she said to herself, “I should NOT be on a screen that big.” or something like that. So homegirl knew early on that she just didn’t have big screen talent…but it didn’t keep her from glomming onto Brad and trying to become a movie star.

Let me clarify my opinion.
I do agree that we can all post whatever we want, and we should/can skip any post we don’t like.
It’s just funny that more than once I remember having to check if I was in the wrong thread. I mean I thought I was in an x thread instead of in a JP thread where I wanted to be, BUT I have also noticed that sometimes in an x thread we discuss Angie. I have done that! :lol:

Chrome is working pretty good for me with JJB not having a problem with but with other sites it is a bit clunky and needs some adjustments.

And then for 19 weeks it was on in 301 theaters and only made $15M world wide [half of them foreign -and by foreign, pretty much everywhere]. what an expensive $30M piece of vanity piece/ snoozefest failure. and also why did mighty heart, bra’s other prodn, get such a poor showing? it was on wide release and made only 18M WORLD WIDE? with the star the ‘GREAT’ Angelina Jolie as the lead, those foreigners should have lapped it up.

I can assure you I didn’t. I would never be so cruel as to assume that everyone who lives in a trailer could be an X fan. That would be too much. And I don’t have to tell you you’re stupid when the evidence clearly speaks for itself.
And don’t worry, you too can have a better life, little troll. The way to do it is this: go to the cinema and see X’s movie–all of it–and then see for yourself what your idol can do when she has to carry a movie by herself.
