Emile Hirsch: Cannes Opener

The very-casually dressed Emile Hirsch wears a simple t-shirt and jeans for the Taking Woodstock photocall held at the Palais Des Festivals during the 2009 Cannes Film Festival on Saturday (May 16) in Cannes, France.

In fact, Emile, 24, wore the same jeans and New Balance “Vintage 420 Collection” sneakers he wore during his 10-hour flight from Los Angeles to Cannes!

Also pictured: Producer/Writer James Schamus, actors Demetri Martin and Imelda Staunton, executive producer Celia D. Costas and director Ang Lee (Hulk, Brokeback Mountain).

Emile and Demetri went skateboarding together on Thursday morning.

It was a photocall! Why dressing up. No male star wears a tux for the photocall. Like everyone else, he’ll dress up for the red carpet and the stairs.

Emile’s fans owe you. Can’t think of how we’d repay you for what you so nicely share with us, but … we DO owe you, darlin’.

Of course you know, Jared, that Emile and his lovely Brianna were seen at the film’s premiere. She was dressed in peach / apricot and he in a traditional Tux. Verrry nice.

Lovely to see those lovey-dove-birds together, as well.
