Kelly Clarkson Zips Over To Zootopia

The 27-year-old original American Idol winner performed her hit song “Since You Been Gone.”

She is a celebrity so - she needs to lose a few pounds.

Sorry but I fail to understand your logic here. Why being a celebrity would make it necessary to lose weight.Clarkson’s field is singing. So unless you detain some proof that being overweight has an impact on vocal cords she can do what she pleases.
She’s not in a contest to become the next Victoria’s Secret’s model!She SINGS!!! Meaning she makes her living with her voice.For those who chose a singer based on her appearance, get back to the Pussycat Dolls.

I can’t get over how so many people are going on and on about how celebrities are always skinny and sick-looking, and dictating what’s cool and what’s not, and that ‘oh, no, skinny is pretty but not the only pretty’, but come over here and spit it at one very pretty woman. she still has the same face. she’s looking really good, I think. comfortable. more natural.

And we wonder why we have 10 year old girls on diets, starving themselves to death and barfing up their meals…. I seriously hope that none of you who have written such mean spirited and hateful comments have a young daughter, niece, etc…. in your life. What kind of message are we sending to our female youth?! Maybe you’re writing these comments to get a reaction from people but young girls/teens reading this will take it to heart. Think before you so carelessly type these messages…..would you chose these same words if you didn’t have your computer to hide behind?
The day Kelly Clarkson’s weight start to effect her voice and/or her wind, is the day she should think about bench pressing herself away from the table a couple of fried chicken wings sooner. Til then, let it rip, Kelly!

It’s amazing how peope’s view of you changes when the way you look changes. I say this because I used to be fat and no one even wanted to sit by me and now I am quite thin-needless to say that that’s different. Anyways, I don’t think that there’s anything wrong with her size.

looks count. her highly promoted album took 8 weeks to go Gold, 500,000 copies. To her that’s a failure considering what breakaway did when she was in SHAPE and didn’t have the photoshop every album cover. She wants to be fat so she can live with falling sales and disapeer from pop.
I agree, being heavy set doesn’t impact her voice one iota. However, it does impact her ability to sell her image/CD. We live in a society where looks do matter. Her lower CD sales are due in part to the image she has out there. It is not flattering. Tweenies in general want their pop stars to look a certain way. Average/heavy-set just doesn’t cut it.
Great singer but she really does need to lose weight. She does not have to be real thin, but come on she is fat. no one wants to go see a fatty concert. Sorry but that is just the way it is.
HUGE FAN! but yes she has put on some pounds…and honestly its not a good look for her. and i hope “Already Gone” becomes a single i absolutely adore that song!
