I’d like 2 share a video its graphic..Concerns a young girls story as a child soldier. This is what Angelina is about- the concerns of refugees-children-all people…I admire her much.

Thanku Angelina 4 recognizing refugees are a recognizable result of the breakdown of the economic & or political situation in an area. Their fleeing violence, discrimination& economic hardship, political conflict. Some ways the very existence of refugees is evidence of the world’s economic &political disparities, proving that many changes need to occur in the world before intractable conflict becomes a thing of the past. Thanku Angelina 4 being a person in the world trying 2 make a difference.

Do you fans remember last year Brad went to Netherland for that architect Museum and it was just an afternoon run? I guess going to Netherland from their home in Nice must be really easy for them. Now i believe they are staying at their home in Miraval. Brad probably just had a run to Cannes for an interview on saturday and then went back to Miraval and that’s why there is no picture of him there. I think THE JOLIE is already back at their home in Miraval.

She’s a very kind hearted person, she seems to love to the fullest and does not hold back. I wish her much continued success and happiness. Angelina will continue to have haters because she is so iconic, outspoken, accomplished and of course beautiful. Many women look down on others who are more accomplished and attractive than they her. Therefore, the hatred towards her can also be interpreted as a compliment. I have much respect for her as she is able to live outside of this glitzy experience and spread awareness around the world. Afterall, isn’t this what humanity is about, that we are here to help nurture and help one another. This alone will help continue human existence, she is a great example of what we should strive to be.

Am so glad you brought this up…AJ highlighting the plight of these children is timely and so important. Melissa is an example of the shortsightedness of many who are not exposed, don’t want to be exposed and just want to hide their heads from any unpleasantness. Melissa, dr zhivago and Their Like’s intent is to divert AJ’s positive efforts into a negative one…those who would take anyone’s good-will only to turn it into a perverse extreme cynicism against that person must be seething in a joyless existence.

For all those who are interested in an aspect of this subject matter, rent “War Dance”, a wonderfully inspiring movie about the Acholi children of Northern Uganda’s refugee camps who were kidnapped and served as death soldiers for Josef Kony and his Lords Resistance Army. Josef Kony for those who don’t know is a devout Christian fighting for a theocratic Christian Ugandan state. The movie interviews these children (with subtitles) and follows a positive outcome from a horrible past.
By competing in Kampala’s National Music Festival in 2007, through Dance and an exhilarating performance, they overcome stigma and personal humiliation for what they were forced to do. It’s a riveting movie only for those who are really interested and have the fortitude to hear their stories, it’s a difficult movie to sit through, can be descriptive but in the end the viewer will be crying with relief for these children who have a new outlook while living with their memories…go rent it or see exerpts at http://www.ugpulse.com/articles/daily/Movies.asp?ID=759
to see if you want to rent the whole movie. Scan down a ways to find the first video. The music is joyful. If you think Susan Boyle was inspiring…these children will surpass her although they are not known except for this movie and those familiar with Uganda. I highly recommend this movie.
AJ thank you for bringing this topic to the attention of the Melissa’s et al of the dark world. I personally look forward to the day Joseph Kony is caught and brought to justice for his crimes against humanity. He not only is a child stealer but he mutilates and kills for glory and power.

As opposed to your armchair position of not going to third world countries, so therefore you don’t have to educate yourself…your logic is stupefying.
I have been to many third world countries, have volunteered my specialty as have many of the posters on these threads…and I can guarantee you, for anyone who has committed the time and effort in the real world, none of us would talk the way you attempt to state a case.
