OlderAnne Hathaway Has A Village Voice
Anne Hathaway (in Proenza Schouler) attends and presents at the 2009 Annual Village Voice OBIE Awards held at Webster Hall on Monday (May 18) in New York City.
In a recent interview with FemaleFirst, the 26-year-old actress shared about the Oscar buzz about her performance in Rachel Getting Married. “Well, I’m trying to remember that there is nothing real to focus on yet,” she said.
“It’s a lovely compliment and it’s lovely to feel that people are anticipating good things for you, that people are cheering for you, but I have to look around at where I actually am, and where I actually am is a wonderful place I’ve been nominated for a Golden Globe and the Independent Spirit Award and I also just got the National Board of Review and I’m so pleased all of them that I don’t think I could be any happier,” Anne said. “I just have to keep telling myself that it really shouldn’t get better and that all of this is more than enough.”

truly adore Anne. She is so special.
Love the color, but the dress itself is not that great. Saw Rachel Getting Married recently, she really played that role well, very believable, she has good acting chops that’s for sure. She seems like she really has her head on straight, she hasn’t gone the party route like some other young actresses *cough cough Lindsay Lohan* and unlike them, she keeps her name out of the headlines, concentrates on the work.
Not the wisest of dress choices….

She always looks great. I’m confused by this interview. She was nominated this year for the Academy Award for Rachel Getting Married, no? What’s the “buzz” about? It did, indeed, happen.
