Dita Von Teese is Cannes Colorful
Dita Von Teese attends “The Dita Von Teese Party” held at the VIP Room/Palm Beach, Point Croisette during the 2009 Cannes Film Festival on Monday (May 18) in Cannes, France.
The 36-year-old burlesque beauty wore a pink and gold brocade strapless cocktail dress and black embellished belt by Dolce&Gabbana. The soiree was thrown by 1OAK partners Richie Akiva, Jeffrey Jah, Scott Sartiano and Ronnie Madra.
On May 16, Dita performed with German pop group Alex Swings Oscar Sings at the Eurovision Song Contest in Moscow, Russia. Unfortunately, their team lost!

Normally I love Dita’s style but this dress is so-so. Not my favorite look. She has a fashion sense which recalls actresses of Old Hollywood, my favorite style.

No idea how she breathes but she doesn’t look 4 feet. She is one of the few average height women who can wear couture like a model although this dress is not the best example. She usually has much better taste.

I think Dita’s make-up is extra-strong because it’s stage make-up, which needs to be much more vibrant because of the situation. Theatre people know about this.

The stockings she wore in the performance were incredible. Fishnets with a diamonte seam! Delightful! Dita is fab!
