Mariska Hargitay Adores American Ballet
Mariska Hargitay (in Carolina Herrera) arrives at the 2009 Annual American Ballet Theatre Spring Gala on Monday (May 18) at The Metropolitan Opera House in New York City.
At the dinner for the American Ballet Theater the 45-year-old actress revealed the reason for her collapsed lung. “I’ve been doing my own stunts on the show for 10 years. I fell wrong, basically. I collapsed my lung doing a stunt,” she told People.
After a visit to the hospital and some time to rest, Mariska is fully recovered. “I’m 100 percent. I’m back to my old self,” she said.

I love Mariska so much! She is such a great example of sticking with your dreams because you never know when you will get what you have been working so hard for. She seems really down to earth and doesn’t take herself or fame too seriously. She looks like she might have had a little work done but she is still and has always been gorgeous.
