I agree with you. Too pity Victoria Secrets products can’t be promoted lately with her dresses. I wonder what’s the reason to wear such uncomfy dress unless you want everybody to look at you -for there is any other reason in the context of a film festival-. I don’t like the way she looks downwards as a shy girl when everybody knows a model is not precisely shy or you are not exactly shy if you dare to wear such a dress that is on the verge of falling down at any step!!! I agree. Penelope looked awful. Her breasts were falling out of her top, and her gown was dragging the ground. She didn’t look put together at all. Miranda looked fantastic.

Wearing a cheap, shiny dress =/= “outshining” a stunning and talented Oscar winner. You should also note that Penelope was very sick with food poisoning but still made a dazzling appearance at the event that she hosted as well as the events surrounding the premier of her film showing at the festival. Did Miranda also outshine her at the press events and red carpet? Not possible since she isn’t invited to any important events unless her boyfriend gets her in.

No need for him to be celibate, a monk, or join the priesthood. People who’ve watched Bloom over the years know by now that he AND Kate used the media and their mutually shared publicist to get attention, tabloid coverage, fame, celebrity, and both played ‘the game’ to the hilt. Bloom just put on a miserable face for the most part while being a fully willing participant.

He’s *still* putting on an unhappy face (periodically) but is a fully aware and willing participant yet *again.* He could live quietly in England and have a civilian non-celeb British girlfriend, or French girlfriend, or Scottish, etc, and keep her away from the paps and press. But as with Kate, she’s the same ambitious type (and also very pretty, in her own way, IMO), and she’s “just what Orlando needs right now,” as Ted C. says. Orlando gets his press and publicity and arm candy and ‘the girlfriend’ gets her needed exposure.

Same game. Different girl.

Well, Gisele IS a true Supermodel. She was special from the start. Doutzen may or may not become a Supermodel, we will have to wait and see. She IS NOT one yet. Miranda will probably continue to be successful, but I don’t think that she will ever be a ‘true’ supermodel. But you can be successful and have a long career without becoming one of the elite. Just look at Heidi. She is amazingly successful, but she isn’t a true Supermodel. Maybe Miranda will follow her road, and not Gisele’s, but that would be fine, too. Either way, VS seems very happy with Miranda. They seem to be using her quite a bit, and featuring her in promotions not related to the items that she directly represents. That means that they are getting positive feedback from her ads. Her career probably won’t reach the likes of Gisele’s, or maybe Doutzen’s, but she is very successful already. Anyone who claims otherwise is just trying to start an argument.
