Adam was already pulling covers. His Entertainment cover? F****** about sold out in my local Barnes and Noble–in the major city of Boston. And when I heard all this buzz about this guy named Adam, he was the ONLY reason I tuned in! And I haven’t watched in YEARS!
They may have only kept Adam around to use him for numbers!! He was 90 PERCENT of the reason why people were tuning in in the last few weeks! I’m laughing over here!

Adam brought some needed LIFE to AI. He deserved to win because he’s got the voice, the presence, and he’s Exciting to watch!….Kris? Adam Lambert quite obviously can sing anything. He is incredible and showed that tonight. Everyone was on their feet and you could tell everyone genuinely though he would win. Kris is good but just like many of others before him he’ll just get lost in the mix. He’s not diverse enough for the industry these days. I’m really excited to see what kind of album Adam will make. He is one of the biggest stars about to rock the music industry like never before.

They’re both extremely talented and genuine guys. Personally, i think Adam’s voice is more suited for the stage, because he’s all about the show. Kris, however, is definitely better for the radio. Plus, Adam’s constant shrieking started to wear on me after a while. I voted for Kris, but i think they both have bright futures :)
Oh! And if it was rigged, like people are saying it was, Adam definitely would have won. It was obvious that the producers and judges adored him. So that doesn’t really make sense.

I never did like Adam’s singing…. although it was irrelevant his look wasn’t to my taste although it was very entertaining - he does make a prettier girl than K. D. Lang… I felt his songs were either power screeching rock in a near female voice or were boring stage contrived drivel. I would love watching him on Broadway, but never want to hear him on my iPod or see him in concert - no I will not attend any Idol tours. Kris is a true musical artist - Adam definitely is the better performance artist - music not being the bulk of the performance. I think that Idol does a terrible job of picking music for the contestants. It is often a miracle that any of them sounded good. Good grief - neither of the finalists could make that horrible No Boundaries song sound good. Gokey was the man this year and should have been the Idol or the runner up.

Adam was ROBBED! I think the “tweens”, those kids who love the Jonas Brothers and Hannah Montana voted en mass for boring milk toast Kris. Those children aged 10, 11, 12, 13 and 14 loved the MARRIED boring karioke singer Kris.
Too bad. His voice wasn’t much better than a cruise ship singer or I may compare Kris Allen to Jason Castro, a non winner from a previous AI season. At least Castro had more “flava” about him.
I think Kris is PATHETIC and he did NOT deserve to win. That’s my opinion and I’m sticking with it!
In their heart-of-hearts, everyone knows Adam should have won.
They voted for Kris because he’s clean-cut, because he’s a worship director/Christian, because he doesn’t wear weird clothes or kiss boys, because children can (safely) look up to him, because he isn’t dangerous, because he represents middle American values, because he’s not scary, because he’s their father/their brother/their boyfriend/their uncle, their child’s future boyfriend…
Adam is scary and different and gay. Adam is dangerous. Adam is threatening. Therefore, Adam shouldn’t win. Adam should be shoved in a corner/closet so no one has to look at him.

I almost cried when they announced Kris as winner, because I felt that my moment was stolen away from me - I wantde to cheer Adam’s winning, I felt the show took advantage of me and did everything for the ratings, shock and talk….(top 36 to include tatyana, mitchell?!?..hmmmm bottom 3 scenario was the same every week)

i know they were pushing this real hard on fox news and rush limbaugh and all those idiots. i didn’t know that adam was gay…and since i think ai sucks and haven’t watched it since a lot of seasons back, i wasn’t blessed to hear all these guys sing, but i heard people talk about the show and i watch shows that would sometimes cover ai. his being gay should not have been a factor in the show. they are two guys with great talent (i think some of the girls on this season also had some real great vocal chords) with two different tones of voices. the chris guy is more pop and country and maybe even smooth jazz if he is lucky, while adam has the range for the rock, the classical, the pop, the theatre voice. when they both sing high notes, the kris guy he can prolong on the same note more, but his voice doesn’t follow through and it stays the same, which sometimes makes him sound strained, unless he changes his note and sings a melange of notes. adam is the same but a little opposite. his vocal range is a lot more than kris and although he can project, he also has the same problem in that he sings so high that his voice/note sounds like it’s stuck and from what i’ve seen of the show, he doesn’t do what kris does often, which is change up his end notes and blend it into another. i think if he did that musically, it would be more appealing and would bode well for him. anyways they are both talented and they have the real chance to be definate good singers. goodluck to them both.

I think that it doesn’t matter who won. When Kris won yeah, I was happy but i would have been just as happy if Adam won. They are both amazing singers and will both make it far.

Shocking results in my opinion. Adam was awesome and deserved to win. Chris was cute and sweet but could not hold a candle to Adam’s voice.
