Carrie Prejean’s Mother Is Gay?

Miss California USA Carrie Prejean has become the reverse poster child for gay activism, but Star is reporting that own mother, Francine Coppola, was entangled in a steamy lesbian love affair.

Carrie’s mom’s ex-girlfriend, openly gay sales rep Valerie Vetrano, admits, “Yes, Francine and I dated.”

But the affair was doomed. “Francine explained how she was a Christian and that her loved ones would never accept her if she were gay,” a pal says. “Valerie feels that if Francine had just been open about her sexuality with her family, Carrie would have a better understanding of what gay people have to go through. They just want equal rights.”

Miss California’s views may not her mothers views. It is possible to have views different from your parents. Besides this “girlfriend” could be seeking her 15 minutes of fame.

I think the question was the definition of marriage and not really the legalities of marriage and benefits for gay couples. From a scientific sense, a marriage has to be consummated to be legal. However, the tax benefits and legal benefits (binding) are probably above carrie’s head because she doesn’t seem that bright, but yes marriage is between a man and a woman from a simplistic point of view.

BS! Gay people need to remember all people have the right to make their decision, offensive to others or not.

We need to do away with beauty pageants.

Her mom is hot…

This is what happens when you are not true to yourself.

@sheila:
Yes that is a simplistic point of view

I thought her dad was gay? Well it seems she has some experience in the “gay parents” department and has completely rejected it.

Homo’s have civil rights, they WANT more rights. They want to be “special” in the eyes of the law. They want their perversion to become law and people “forced to respect” their perversion.

WentsWorthit @ 05/20/2009 at 2:28 pm

@just saying:
No…I would say that she has experience with the screwed up stay in the closet Haggert style gay parent .
No wonder she feels like she does….people are always afraid of something they don’t understand, with me it’s math, with the Christian Taliban it’s the gays.

What is wrong with you “Just saying”? How could gay people have civil rights when they can not marry or adopt in some states. If their partner was dying in a hospital they might not be allowed in the room. Gay people are not equal in the eyes of the law. Not that many years ago states banned interracial marriage, no one would think of doing that today. When will people accept people for who they are? You don’t choose your sexual orientation or who you love. I am straight and married and think all people have the right to happiness. If it is true that her mother is gay, how sad that she would not be accepted for who she is by her own daughter.

shiela, the consummation is not a “scientific” requirement for marriage legality. it is law. science has not one thing to do with it.

I think that a lot of people have issues with the word “marriage” - when they hear “gay marriage,” they think about religion - and by extension, about gay couples being given the right to be married in an Evangelical church or something.

I know it makes no sense at all, but I’ve actually heard people use that argument =/

Eh. If it weren’t for all these so-called scandals, I wouldn’t even know that these pageants existed anymore…

More attack propaganda from the twisted vile evil perversity that is the gay movement.

@Jamman:

Lev. 25:44 states that I may buy slaves from the nations that are around us. A friend of mine claims that this applies to Mexicans but not Canadians. Can you clarify?
I know you have studied these things extensively, so I am confident you can help. Thank you again for reminding us that God’s word is eternal and unchanging.

WentsWorthit @ 05/20/2009 at 3:47 pm

@Jamman:

Lev. 20:20 states that I may not approach the altar of God if I have a defect in my sight. I have to admit that I wear prescription glasses. Does my vision have to be 20/20, or is there some wiggle room here?

WentsWorthit @ 05/20/2009 at 3:47 pm

A friend of mine feels that even though eating shellfish is an abomination (Lev. 10:10), it is a lesser abomination than homosexuality. I don’t agree. Can you settle this?

WentsWorthit @ 05/20/2009 at 3:48 pm

I have a neighbor who insists on working on the Sabbath. Exodus 35:2 clearly states he should be put to death. Am I morally obligated to kill him myself?

WentsWorthit @ 05/20/2009 at 3:48 pm

I know that I am allowed no contact with a woman while she is in her period of menstrual uncleanliness (Lev. 15:19-24). The problem is, how do I tell? I have tried asking, but most women take offense.

WentsWorthit @ 05/20/2009 at 3:48 pm

I would like to sell my daughter into slavery, as it suggests in Exodus 21:7. In this day and age, what do you think would be a fair price for her?

WentsWorthit @ 05/20/2009 at 3:48 pm

When I burn a bull on the altar as a sacrifice, I know it creates a pleasing odor for the Lord (Lev. 1:9). The problem is my neighbors. They claim the odor is not pleasing to them. How should I deal with this?
