Carrie Prejean’s Mother Is Gay?
Miss California USA Carrie Prejean has become the reverse poster child for gay activism, but Star is reporting that own mother, Francine Coppola, was entangled in a steamy lesbian love affair.
Carrie’s mom’s ex-girlfriend, openly gay sales rep Valerie Vetrano, admits, “Yes, Francine and I dated.”
But the affair was doomed. “Francine explained how she was a Christian and that her loved ones would never accept her if she were gay,” a pal says. “Valerie feels that if Francine had just been open about her sexuality with her family, Carrie would have a better understanding of what gay people have to go through. They just want equal rights.”

Gay people don’t have rights. Civil unions actually aren’t recognized in the United States with a few exceptions.
They don’t have the same rights as a married couple would. So don’t be stupid and think before you speak.

i do not believe in homosexualtiy but i do believe that you should reach out and try to help others. homosexualtiy is not right. God destroyed sodom and gomorah because of the perversion of homosexualtiy. And NO christians do not just want fame. they are not phonies or frauds. some are, im not going to lie, but you cant judge millions of people because of what one person does. and chistianity is not just a realigion its a way of life. praying for you.

I got stuck in the post where you say you’ll always be a bit screwed because you grew up southern Baptist.
Don’t worry about that fact. I am a 23 year old female raised as a catholic. My grandma raised me and she was the biggest bigot I’ve ever known. And she learned love and tolerance towards others because she chose to raise a child from THIS generation, with gay and diverse racial/social background friends included.
Wow I made this about myself, I apologize, but I was trying to make a point out of it. Ah yeah, IN MY FAMILY, IN MY COUNTRY we are free to have an opinion, not to hate =)

Just Saying and Sheila are write. The reason gays want to marry is to make a mockery of heterosexual marriage and to be regarded as special in the eyes of the law. Otherwise they would shut up about wanting to be married and just settle for domestic partner benefits.
