Carrie Prejean’s Mother Is Gay?
Miss California USA Carrie Prejean has become the reverse poster child for gay activism, but Star is reporting that own mother, Francine Coppola, was entangled in a steamy lesbian love affair.
Carrie’s mom’s ex-girlfriend, openly gay sales rep Valerie Vetrano, admits, “Yes, Francine and I dated.”
But the affair was doomed. “Francine explained how she was a Christian and that her loved ones would never accept her if she were gay,” a pal says. “Valerie feels that if Francine had just been open about her sexuality with her family, Carrie would have a better understanding of what gay people have to go through. They just want equal rights.”

Oh come on…JS, I know at least one of your sisters would love me. I can change, really I can, and I’m easy on the eyes. This gay thing, It’s just a silly choice on my part, gimme a chance JS. I’ve heard it’s really easy to change JS…Look at Rev. Haggard…err well that’s not a good example.

@ the truth: why do they have to be married in churches?? what if they don’t believe in “god”? does this mean that people of other religions’ marriages don’t count? “oh, sorry, because you’re an athiest your marriage doesn’t count. oh, and mister buddhist, yours doesn’t either.” what the fuc.k!? not everybody has the same religion as you, and your christianity doesn’t make you god’s precious gift to the world.
and all those divorces: i’d be willing to bet that a handful were wed in churches. but not too many, because obviously christians are christlike and would never divorce.

Its not about advocating one lifestyle or the other- your arguments are completely illogical - you can live a ’straight lifesytle’ and still support the gays. As I mentioned on another post I want the white picket fence and the strong, virile husband but why does my wanting that have to prevent others from fulfilling their own dream? Why can 2 worlds not co-exist? Yes, you are passionate about your beliefs and you are entitled to them - the granting of gay marriage would not threaten them - if you are that passionate about them, you will have them till the day you die. So why not let the gays have their dream?

Use the correct word, which is “right” not “write”. I’m pretty sure that EVERYBODY wants to be able to marry the person they love, because of the significance of the ritual.
Let me clear this up. Gay people do have the same rights as straight people do. Gay couples do not. They cannot turn their relationship into a marriage. Maybe they are asking for more rights, but so were the people who could not marry out of their race. These people could marry within their race and everybody had that same right, but that needed to change. This needs to change as well.

Carrie did not answer the question that was asked. She gave her opinion on gay marriage. Everyone is entitled to their opinion, of course, but a more substantive response including logic and evidence would have been more impressive than giving an opinion on gay marriage. After all, potentially, a person could disapprove of gay marriage on conservative religious grounds, yet think that other states should follow suit, based on a belief that the legal rights and responsibilities connected to marriage should be equally available to all adult Americans.

some people are truly pathetic. they will do anything to get attention. the fact is that i know the prejean family personally, and the fact that someone chooses to speak falsely about both Carrie and Mrs. Prejean angers me. Number one Mrs. prejean is happliy married to mr. prejean. together they own a wonderful italian restaurant in the San Diego suburbs. Secondly Carrie is entitled to her own beliefs. there are probably many issues she doesnt agree on with her parents, but that doesn’t make her insensitive or a liar. and if the gay activists had really listened to what she said at the pageant then they would have realized that she did not ever say anything mean or hurtful towards gays, but rather she stayed true to her beliefs as a Christian and as a Californian at the time. i myself am a strong Christian young lady and i have always admired Carrie. Lastly all these verses you have taken out of context are ridiculous. why not focus on the issues that really have to do with this gay movement, and just so yall know the Bible consistently states homosexuality as a sin, from Genesis to Revelation homosexuality is shown to be wrong!
