Dita Von Teese is Inglouriously Gorgeous
Dita Von Teese works out a 1950’s-shaped black-and-white Christian Dior Haute Couture dress at the premiere of the new Quentin Tarantino-directed movie, Inglourious Basterds, held at the Palais Des Festivals during the 2009 Cannes Film Festival on Wednesday afternoon (May 20) in Cannes, France.
The night before, the 36-year-old burlesque beauty attended the Dsquared cocktail reception during the in Cannes. Dita paired her Alexis Mabile Haute Couture dress with Christian Louboutin shoes.

She looks lovely. Dita attends the Cannes Film Festival every year for the amFAR AIDS charity events.
Dita is a really pretty girl. I wish she would go lighter on the pale foundation, but she has an amazing sense of style and wears the most beautiful gowns.
The blue dress is adorable, chic and sexy.
The b/w dress is very pretty, but I’m not feeling the make-up.

Well, unlike Paris and Phoebe, Dita actually works and doesn’t get tossed out of events. As mentioned by #3, Dita does promotional work for an AIDS charity at Cannes.

I knew I recognized the blue dress. I prefer it on Dita because she actually fills it out and doesn’t look like a tooth pick. I can’t decide which dress I like better. Both are beautiful.

What has she done to be walking the red carpet at Cannes and were does she get the money to live like a jetsetter, i know she strips but lately she spends more time on red carpets than pending tome doing a real job. Thanx to Marylin Manson, this broad is trying to extend that publicity way past 15 minutes!

When will she go away. She is what? A professional “fashion icon”…who looks good here, but is usually ridiculous. Dita Von Teese…it’s a joke name…a porn name, because she did porn, yet we revere her. I just don’t get it.
She looks beautiful.
Dita is a burlesque dancer who does both public and private performances. Unless you personally know her schedule, you cannot state for fact that she spends more time on the red carpet than working. She performs at personal parties for bigwigs like Stephen Spielberg. They probably don’t release photos from the private events to Getty/WireImage, so just because you see her several times a month at a public events or being snapped shopping or walking down the street doesn’t mean she isn’t working the rest of the month. Being photographed at public events is good for her line of work. She is not a huge Hollywood star. She’s carved out a niche market for herself, so remaining somewhat in the public eye is needed for her livelihood. Plus, like a few said, she’s at Cannes for AIDS charity work. That’s a good thing so I don’t know why people are knocking that. Hell, if I were at Cannes and had the opportunity to attend the premiere of Inglourious ******** and see the gorgeous Jolie-Pitts and I.B. cast walk the red carpet, I’d take it too. Dita has her own money and career and pays her taxes. She can do what she wants and seems to be having fun doing it.
