Hayden Panettiere’s Tattoo is Misspelled!
The tattoo on Hayden Panettiere’s left side is apparently spelled incorrectly.
Her tattoo reads “Vivere senza rimipianti” (”Live without regrets” in Italian) but there’s one too many i’s!
The 19-year-old Heroes starlet’s tattoo says “rimipianti”, but it’s spelled “rimpianti”. Yikes!
The bikini-clad Hayden showed off her misspelled tattoo when she was soaking up the sun with her boyfriend, British TV presenter Steve Jones in Cannes, France.

I forgot to type “have”.
That’s why you shouldn’t get tattoo’s in a language you don’t know !
This just in from the Pope:
LuckyL, you are looking for the word “idiot” in Italian?
My son, it is so obvious. Everybody can clearly see
the word is “rimipianti”. And should you chose to use
spell check the response will be “recipient”. And young
Hayden Panettiere’s tattoo certainly proves she was!
Does not God work in mysterious ways?
Strength in italian can be translated with “Forza” or “Energia”…
There are so many sinonims… you can choose the best for you…
Even “coraggio” (”courage”) can be used for the word “strength”, it all depends on the contest you use it in.
I prefer “forza”, it’s the most accurate…
The translation of “idiot” is: idiota. Not so different, right? XD
Like stupid is “Stupido” or “Stupida” (we italians have the gender for most of the adjectives… so “stupido” is for a male, “stupida” for a female. Not every adjective has the gender, though… yeah, it’s a tough language); “imbecille” (no gender; it’s for everyone), “deficiente” (no gender)…
Sinonims is “synonyms”, sorry.. i taped wrong.
Anyways, the tattoo is not that bad, but sure she’s gonna regret it :D
As everone already said, the right word is “RIMPIANTI”… It’s a cute phrase, stupid her she didn’t check it before…
@LuckyL:
Idiota…there’s only the A in the end!!
I ask..she had italian origin or the italian phrase is just for fashion??
( sorry for my english…i’m italian!! =P )
no problem…she can regenerate herself after a laser operation
:D
@LuckyL:
“Idiot” in italian is “idiota”… or “stupida” that means “stupid”, but only for female, cause for male is “stupido”.
I wonder if she shaves down there
Major Irony once again triumphant on the battlefield of Hollywood.
A life without regrets, regretting a tattoo. Irony or horrible karma.
Also, the verb form is incorrect. The way she means it, it should be in the imperative, not the infinitive. So “vivete senza rimpianti” or “vivi senza rimpianti,” depending on whether she’s talking to everyone or herself.
@Jasmine: LOL right?! I loled!
Actually her first tattoo choice was in English: Live without reggrets…
. . .
Here’s an online dictionary spelling:
http://www.wordreference.com/iten/RIMPIANTI
. . .
As a tattoo artist, I am shocked the spelling wasn’t checked and double checked. Presumably SHE approved it. A case of trying to be clever when you’re not at all bright. Out of ten, I’d give her one.
@bella:
“Proves further more do research before you getting a tat.”
“further more do research”?
You also must be a blond…so sad
why is everyone being so judgemental of the poor girl? she is amazing and beautiful. and not stupid for getting it spelled wrong. she must have been misinformed, that would not be her fault, and it is her tattoo, not any of yours. and by the way hitch, you wouldn’t know a pretty girl if she went and slapped you across your dumb ass face.
How many angels can dance on the head of a pin?
Maybe she can have it altered to read “I live with many regrets” one of which is getting that tattoo, which will still be on her 70 years from now.
I actually have the word “regret” written on my side and I looked at the word so many times while finding a font to use, that I had to have about 10 people reassure me it was spelled right before I had it done.
The funny part is, now when I look in the mirror, the reflection looks like it says, “no respect.”
That seriously sucks. How can she even can that fixed?
@adriana:
Your an idiot just like her.. the way you just spelled it had four i’s not 3…. WOW!
loser
Hey,
how about you all stop being judgemental pieces of **** and leave her alone?
Is it really any of YOUR buisness what she does or does not get tattood to her skin?
stfu and get a life instead of critizing someone elses.
@ely: what is pathetic is that you would talk smack but then YOU spell tattoo wrong in your next post!
