Ben McKenzie is a Work-Out Wonder
Southland star Ben McKenzie walks around in his New Balance sneakers prior to his workout at Gold’s Gym in West Hollywood on Wednesday (May 20).
The 30-year-old actor quenched his thirst with Gatorade X-Factor “Be Touch” in lemon-lime strawberry flavor.
Southland is all-new TONIGHT @ 10PM ET/PT on NBC. Episode “Derailed” synopsis: Officers find a dead gang member in the trunk of a car; Detective Bryant asks Lydia to take Janilla in; the rift between Detective Salinger and his daughter grows.

Nahhh, they are definitely new balance. He’s probably going to run as those ar running shoes. And to the guy, Jake, who said the girls you meet don’t like working out: I’m a girl, and I ran the 800m for Georgia Tech (Division I NCAA), I’ve done martial arts since I was 7 years old as well as gymnastics, I play basketball, tennis, and I like hiking. I know plenty of girls who love working out as well, and sometimes we do it together.
And on Ben McKenzie: WOOOOO WEEEE!!!!!!!!!!!! He’s gotten soooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo hottttttttttttttt!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! *thud*

First of all, that’s not completely true. He’s dated Emily VanCamp, Zooey Deschanel, and other girls (none of whom are famous). Secondly, the answer to your question is that we don’t hear about it because he’s stated SO MANY TIMES that his love life and personal life is to be kept private and he’d prefer the media and paparazzi never know about it (AS IT SHOULD BE!!!) In fact, I’m so sick of seeing celebrities hook up with other celebrities and get married, etc. and I’m glad I don’t see him involved with that mess. What difference does it make to you anyways? You should be ashamed of yourself for asking that question (especially as it seems as though judging by your name, you are a guy).
