Kara DioGuardi is a Bikini Babe
American Idol judge Kara DioGuardi strips down to her bikini while performing onstage during the American Idol Season 8 Grand Finale held at Nokia Theatre L.A. Live on Wednesday (May 20) in Los Angeles.
The 38-year-old sang a duet with Katrina Darrell, aka Bikini Girl. The twosome performed their own rendition of Mariah Carey’s “Vision of Love.” Watch the performance below!
FYI: As host Ryan Seacrest so poignantly pointed out, Katrina got breast implants since we last saw her during auditions!

Kara looks so gross. Wonder how long she starved herself beforehand. You can just count the ribs.
That was such a surprise..and Kara really got me to like her immensely!! She was the hit of the show..and everyone loved her!!
As far as kris is concerned…..I am sooooo happy that he won…He will make a wonderful American Idol….and he is so talented…..You go Kris!! My very best to you!!
I like Kara’s voice. We all know Kara can outsing the bikini girl. I do not like setting people up to humiliate them even if the person is conceited. I could not watch the bikini girl and Kara’s performance. I just could not see the humor in that performance. The performance seem mean to me JMO.

Definitely one of my favorite moments on the show last night when Kara came on stage and kicked bikini girl’s butt singing “Vision of Love.”
Bikini girl drives me insane…one, the only reason Randy and Simon liked her was because of her body; two, she was stuck up and a snob; three, she thinks she’s such an amazing singer, well guess what? Kara was right, her voice did not fit that song at all. She was NOT hitting the notes.
I’m so happy that she showed her who’s boss.

Kara, you go girl! The look on BB’s face was priceless! LOL. anyway, i think Adam should’ve won.. he’s voice quality is superb! i think that he lost because many people like Kris Allen’s personality and guy-next-door vibe.

So, the question is…did Bikini Girl know ahead of time that Kara was joining her onstage? My husband & I say she was shocked and had no prior knowledge; our teens say BG knew all along and just acted surprised

Not only did she outshine rather all the Idol contestants (except…cough…for Adam Lambert) with her performance; she’s so very much better looking than the ‘bikini babe’ chick.
With regard to the vocals only, she should be a star.

Kara literally stole the show…it was by far the best moment of the whole night — whole season. For the record she is not a 45 - 50 year lady as the media has reported. She’s 38 years young and looks awesome. I would love to re-see a clip portraying the moment when BG dissed Kara doing the auditions and the night when the divas battled it out. Kara, girl you got it going on. In the familiar words of Randy, you’d worked it out.

Kara upstaginging bikini girl was halarious..that’s what she gets for being rude to Kara at the audition. That was one of the hilights of the night for me…lol! Adam was awesome performing with KISS

You’re right it is just you. Adam’s song with Kiss was pitiful. Adam sounds horrible, nothing special. I loved that he went last and his fans automatically thought that meant he won. Suckers.
