Hugh Jackman is a Popscicle Parent
Hugh Jackman treats his kids Oscar, 9, and daughter Ava, 3, to some cold treats while mom Deborra Lee Furness watched on Thursday afternoon (May 21) at the West Side Park in New York City.
The 40-year-old Aussie actor hasn’t been updating his Twitter recently with good reason. Last week, Hugh tweeted, “Hey-Sorry, I have been quiet. spending much needed time with the deb and the kids.”

Sorry but just calling it how I see it. Living in NYC, I see celebs out all the time with their families and Katie-doll courted those awful paps EVERY SINGLE DAY!!!!! Suri was a miserable mess and never happy. As for the Jackman kids, they are ALWAYS having fun and laughing and smiling and playing. Like kids should be. Jackman family rocks!!!!

So many cruel and rude posters. So what if Deb is older then Hugh. The Jackman’s seem like a very loving family and that is all that really matters anyways.

I know some actors who have worked on set with the Jackman’s and they comment on how loving this family is together. Hugh and Deb are a team and have been together a very long time. Both are respected in both hollywood and broadway circles. To each is own and I wish them much happiness.

those nasty comments are made a minute apart, and are eerily similar to comments made on another jackman post. so many of them are probably made by the same person, which is very pathetic.

Oh trust me honey, he will one day! Look at what happen to Tom Cruise and Nicole. They were married for years and adopted (for whatever reason) two children. Then they spilt up, remarried, and had kids of their own. Nicole has Sundae Rose and Tom has beautiful Suri. It won’t be long before this happens to the Jackmans. Hugh will remarried a beautiful woman, a little younger than him. And will make his own kid. His wife on the other hand, I’m not sure what she’ll do. She’s too old get pregnant and considering her looks, it will be extremely hard for her to find a man to remarry. She more than likely be left to raise their two adopted kids. It’s only a matter of time!

I don’t think for one moment, that she is pimping her daugther out. Tom on the other hand, I’m not so sure about. But they are celebs and will be in the public spotlight regradless. I just hate when people see Tomkat or Bradgelina and automatically say their pimping their children out, but when the see other celeb kids having photo ops, theysay nothing. Why the double-standard?
@aimee: AGREE. Who cares about Jackman’s sexuality? I care about two things: 1) he has huge talent, 2) he seems to be a very good and down to earth person and noone can deny that…

I agree. I don’t think either of these people are using their kids for photo ops. not jackman, not cruise, not brad pitt. I don’t know them of course and I could be wrong, but I can’t imagine these parents using their kids like that. the cameras are there, what can they do? smash the photog’s camera? hide their kids at home?
I have to agree with one poster that said they married with no-prenup. If it’s ture that they met while the were both in Australia filming a tv series. And he was a new actor and she was already an known actress in AUS. Then maybe they did married with no pre-nup. I heard he married her like 6 months after they met. They look like a really happy couple, and I hope they are happy, because if they are not, then Hugh is screwed financially if they ever divorce!
