Matilda Ledger Does a Little Dance
Matilda Ledger gets a ride on the shoulders of a friend in Brooklyn, New York City on Friday (May 22).
The 3-year-old cutie also did a little dance in her blue dress!
Mom, Michelle Williams, was with her daughter, as she enjoyed her morning coffee. The 28-year-old actress has currently been filming for her new film, Blue Valentine, with co-star Ryan Gosling.

This is the cutest celeb baby EVERRRR. And the reason why is because she is ALWAYS smiling! She is so happy, Michelle raised her well.

I don’t know how anyone can say she looks “just” like her daddy (the eyes & chin, maybe) when it’s obvious her looks come straight from her mom! There’s a saying: “Daughters take after their moms; sons look like their dads.”

Then again, people will see what they want to see… The nastier ones are most likely hoping that as Matilda starts school, her classmates will taunt her with: “My (mommy/daddy) says you look like your DEAD daddy. You gonna do what he did?” That’s something to look forward to - NOT!

It can only be hoped that in 2009 children WON’T be THAT cruel to another child. But reading apparently “mature” posters’ comments in other threads on other blogs, I don’t hold out much hope of her being spared that. Children do tend to learn from parents & adults social behavior, after all.

@rossy40: For the first three years, she was a carbon copy of Heath, but she definitely seems to be growing into Michelle’s looks. I’m sick of reading those nasty posts as well - mainly the same people who are twisted in their jealousy and believe Michelle doesn’t deserve to be Matilda’s mother- Matilda looking like Heath somehow added to their argument. Pointless now, because by the time she starts school, I doubt she’ll look much like him at all

Heath Ledger, as has been proven in his autopsy, died a accidental death from accidental drug mixture. Think you may need to read and reread this report.
Heath was a incredible human being, who loved everyone and adored his daughter, beautiful Matilda, who is the spittin image of him and probably will be a unbelievable human being as he was.
I hope and pray that Matilda knows all about her father, Heath, his accomplishments, his loving gentle spirit, and very much a caring and giving person. He is and was “One in a Million” and it will be a very long time before the acting world will be blessed with a incredible person with his incredible character and acting ability.
If you have not seen any of his films, you are missing the best, younger actor of our time and for a long time to come. His performance in the “Dark Knight” alone was brilliant, as proven by winning every award he was nominated for for this role.

Such a bright, lively, loving child! To the rancid old sow who wished a drug overdose on this beautiful golden child, go to Hell! Jesus forgives, but the rest of us think you are a real a$$hole.
Matilda looks connected with the “real world” unlike other sought after famous kids (Suri). There’s a natural and comfortable attitude apparent in the photos. Not staged or decked out in designer clothes. My favorite child.
This is such a darling child, she’s just a total ham! Man oh man does she look like her daddy RIP Heath :) Great to see her happy, Michelle is such a classy lady as well, she’s raising Matilda as normal as possible for being a celeb. Heath’s little mini-me, in personality and the resemblance is just uncanny.
She is just so happy all the time. I love it!
My, My, Matilda is the picture of her father, Heath Ledger. It appears even in the pictures that she has her father’s personality. Should she persue the movie industry, hopefully she will be successful and not fall into the trap her father did. Matilda will do just fine. She seems to be surrounded by loving people.
