Back to work!
Angelina Jolie continues to look fierce in a gray wig while filming her new flick, Salt on the Upper East Side of Manhattan on Saturday (May 23).
The day’s shoot included some NYPD squad cars, so looks like we’ll see some great car chase scenes!
The 33-year-old California-born actress had a brief time away from the set, as she went with partner, Brad Pitt, to the 2009 Cannes Film Festival to premiere his film, Inglourious Basterds.

Meanwhile, a whiny neurotic ex sitcom star cannot handle her daily walkabouts on her lame rom com and has to shut down production. AJ is an inspiring woman with a large international fan base. Besides, the facts speak for themselves. AJ is an inspiring woman. She is not a wimpy stuck in the past little girl and has seen unimagined suffering through her travels and UN work. AJ is a mom with a red hot career. AJ is a sexy partner to the equal sexy BP. It is all good.

Angie has a sexy sultriness that sets her apart from other actresses. So trying to compare her body parts to other actresses is silly. Its the overall package. Either you have IT or you don ‘t. And Angie has IT.
When I first discovered this site, there was not the constant harping about JA vs Angelina. It was occasional but now it is constant. I wish some of the original posters would come back or let me know where they are now. I like reading about Brad and Angie - just Brad and Angie, but not Jen. I am not a fan of hers and am weary of all the constant talk about her here. I know how to seek her out on the internet if I want to, but I don’t.
I suspect that since Brad and Angie’s relationship as partners is about to exceed the length of his marrige to X, the haters are going into a meltdown. Why does Angie make them feel to threatened? I think it has something to do with her sexy, sultry looks. But Angie is a talented, warm, energetic young woman who was a passion for helping others.
Brad and JA were not meant to be - the fact that he wanted 7 or 8 children and she said he would be lucky to get 2, should tell any thinking, rational, fair person that they had contrasting views on how they wanted to live their lives, on the quality of life. And life has a way of bringing things to past when we least expect it. I suspect his X thought she could put off having children until after she had achieved all she wanted in her career, and then have 1 child in her 40’s. I don’t think the marriage was fulfilling for either of them. And then life brought Angie and Brad together. The moral of the story is don’t take your partner for granted. A relationship takes a lot of work and sacrifice. Without sacrifice, the relationship might crumble when you least expect it.

AJ has so many great assets but it’s her EYES that I tend to look at first every time I see pics of hers. I don’t know, her eyes is just mesmerizing. Maybe because the eyes are the windows to one’s soul. Through them, we could easily see the beauty behind the physical aspect of a person. Yeah they are back in the States. I don’t think this type of movie goes to Cannes. It’s not edgy or controversial enough.
It will make money though. Last year Angie had boffo hits with Wanted and Kung Fu Panda and she got critical acclaim with her mild hit Changeling.

Brad and his x didn’t have a happy loving home, so what home exactly are you referring to? It’s hard to eccept that X ruined her own marriage to a man that was more than willing to give his all to make it work. I think x was to wrapped up in herself and how wonderfulgreatsuperfraud she really was. You can tell she put her career, friends and herself before her husbsand. Angelina Jolie is pretty. But even her fans have to agree that she has very disgusting looking and very unhealthy arms. Her face is lovely. But her arms really creep me out. I saw a lot of pictures of Angelina in that nice beige dress at Cannes with Brad last week. While she looked really nice, I couldn’t help but stare at her arms.
Her arms are literally like twigs and very unhealthy looking. In fact, you can see a milion veins popping out all over arms. I just think maybe she needs to eat more and try to get her arms to look healthy again. They are her biggest flaw. I don’t know what she can do to make them look normal again, but she should do something about it. I’m surprised a lot of people haven’t mentioned it already seeing as how her arms always look as of they will just break right off if someone pulls on them a little too hard.
I’m not hating because I do like her, I’m just pointing out the truth.
I guess filming will be over by the middle of June. Brad starts Moneyball around that time.

But that’s her trademark dear. Go as far back as her teenage pictures and her arms, hands, veins, lips, eyes, nose , hairline , etc…are all the same. Excluding her pregnancies, Angelina has managed not to gain or lose more than 10 - 12 lbs. She’s consistent.

They never were caught on video or camera talking to each other. If these all are not sign of break up then what are they? Its plain to see why the public are obsessed with her and why its easy to be jealous of her and Brad. She is just way ahead of the rest. One can see why Brad chose her over Jen! Its just that simple. Brad is a beautiful and intelligent guy, but also a very compassionate person. He genuinely cares about the world around him and thats exactly the same in Ange. He was “stolen” from Jen. Seriously LOL…the ironic thing is these two have been together the same amount of time his marriage lasted yet every other day some ‘fan’ either here or on another blog is jabbering on about how they are soon to break up :) Just because that may be what you want to happen doesn’t mean that is what will occur. This appears to be a grown up relationship with the responsibility of family, not a twenty something romance. I’ve followed each of these people in the past and honestly, this relationship seems to be the one where they make the effort to be together as much as possible and work as a team. According to P.Diddy twitter page, Diddy was on Miami, so the person the had this sighting of him and Brad needs to have his/her eyes checked.
Way before Angelina met Brad she was doing charity work and apointed UNHCR Goodwill Ambassador. I think she’s done one of the best jobs in that position than anyone.
I think all that extra that Angelina had going for her is what attracted Brad to her. Compare the do nothing golden girl to the deeply interesting with an overcome troubled past and philanthropic young mother. When Angelina got divorced, she was quite the catch. But she didn’t want to be caught as more serious global issues caught her attention. She also moved to the UK.
Since his marriage was DOA as he was about to do MMS, There was no way Brad was gonna be attached for a while no matter who was around. Angelina represented the exact opposite of what he had. How could he not be attracted to her? Angelina is an intriguing young woman who had similar life dreams and goals that Brad had but that his ex could not get on board with.
So here we are almost 4 1/2 years later with Brad & Angelina together w/6 children. The ex is by herself, single, childless, looking ok, and loving life doing the type of movies she was meant for. Even Angelina’s ex is happy. It’s a win win situation all around. This is why I don’t get all the snark from the trolls and haters. What’s there to hate? Everyone won out. Everyone is happy! I seriously doubt that the ex would want to be where Angelina is with 6 kids one african and two asian, traveling, etc…By the same token you can bet that Angelina would not want to be what the ex is doing.

I love her interviews - she is open and warm and intelligent and articulate and funny. And she never says anything bad about anyone - she never even hints at anything bad. She never tries to put anybody else down. She is a breath of fresh air compared to the usual Hollywood interviews that are so canned and scripted.
When she and BBT divorced that had to devastate her but she went on with her life and never said anything bad about him. But you could tell in her interviews she was hurt by the whole experience. She was very naive going into a marriage with a guy almost twice her age who had 4 previous marriages and it least one broken engagement. You can tell from her past that family is very important to her, so when she and BBT broke up, I’m sure she had a very rough time, but she did not seek pity. She just kept living, staying involved in humanitarian endeavors and taking acting roles when they fit into her duties as mother and humanitarian. I admire her so much, because she did not push her humanitarian and motherly duties aside for her career. Like she said recently, she does not want to miss out on experiencing life with her kids just to make more movies. So she has her priorities in order. She has success because she works at all of it (acting, humanitarian work, motherly duties, being a partner) and she does not ask for pity. She is very selfless. And I think she now has a man who appreciates and values that.

I think all that extra that Angelina had going for her is what attracted Brad to her. Compare the do nothing golden girl to the deeply interesting with an overcome troubled past and philanthropic young mother. When Angelina got divorced, she was quite the catch. But she didn’t want to be caught as more serious global issues caught her attention. She also moved to the UK.
Since his marriage was DOA as he was about to do MMS, There was no way Brad was gonna be attached for a while no matter who was around. Angelina represented the exact opposite of what he had. How could he not be attracted to her? Angelina is an intriguing young woman who had similar life dreams and goals that Brad had but that his ex could not get on board with.
So here we are almost 4 1/2 years later with Brad & Angelina together w/6 children. The ex is by herself, single, childless, looking ok, and loving life doing the type of movies she was meant for. Even Angelina’s ex is happy. It’s a win win situation all around. This is why I don’t get all the snark from the trolls and haters. What’s there to hate? Everyone won out. Everyone is happy! Yeah, when Brad and Aniston got in the theater, Brad totally ignored her, they left after 15 minutes. Brad feigned a headache and left Aniston to go to the Troy after party with her hairdresser and Brad left alone the next morning, to go to Amsterdam.
Let’s see, Brad and Angelina stayed for the entire movie, went to the after party and never left each other’s side and they left together the next day back to NYC.

The notoriously extravagant festival toned down the glitz for this year’s recession-era bash and was lighter than usual in star power, but it still saw celebs like Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie sashay up the fabled red carpet.
Billed as a battle of auteur titans, it mostly lived up to expectations, with Britain’s Independent on Sunday newspaper calling it “a superior vintage” and France’s Journal du Dimanche declaring “the return of great cinema”.
Austrian television star Christoph Waltz clinched the best actor award for his role as a multilingual Nazi nicknamed the “Jew Hunter” in Tarantino’s “Inglourious ********.
“Tarantino’s march up the red carpet — flanked by Pitt and his wife Jolie — for the world premiere of his long-awaited “********” on Wednesday provided the biggest celebrity buzz of the 12-day festival.
Scandal came in the form of Von Trier’s “Antichrist”, which provoked fainting, gasps and walk-outs and received an “anti-prize” for misogyny that the festival director angrily denounced as an attempt at censorship.
The late Heath Ledger’s unfinished stint in Terry Gilliam’s “The Imaginarium of Doctor Parnassus” was screened out of competition, while “Spider-Man” director Sam Raimi returned to horror with his new flick “Drag Me To Hell”.
If your name, as an A list star and Producer, can get a movie made, bring in the money, get talent to want to work with you, bring in the audience, then more power to you. That is why BP is at the top of his game, Forbes list and movers and shakers. Besides, being sexy and good looking, he is also a talented actor who takes on small and big roles. Excellent news though it does make me curious how they will go about showcasing the promos when the film opens to wide release. Who do they highlight? Brad or the Cannes best actor award? Maybe Brad for TV spots but the prestigious award attachment for the print media? Not the worst things to confront a film, though as I say I am curious…

I am a bit concerned. Why are the Jen Aniston fans on this thread. Why are they not asking Jared for a thread about Jen. Your idol has not been seen in days. She was asked to leave the set. I said when it came out that it wouldn’t make $40MIL domestic…and it won’t…OR $40MIL foreign. Right now it’s at about $12MIL foreign with a dozen or so territories left to open in. The movie cost $80MIL to make and the marketing budget was probably another $20-30MIL. Uni is going to take a blood bath on that one. Even with DVD sales and rentals they’ll be lucky to recoup half of their investment. And that’s exactly what they deserve for stabbing Brad in the back.
