Esi, I appreciate your calm, logical response, and even though I initially posted out of anger, I feel a little more settled, and just really only feel sorry for people who a product of their environments and haven’t seen enough diverse couples to not look at it in some kind of “cutesy” way, as if it isn’t two human being, two adults who are simply in love, it’s always some “ethnic sampling” and “ain’t it cute see light and dark people uniting in spite of the abnormality of it all! F_U, I disagree. His not a public figure. The guy is a regular guy. He is not photographed all the time. Plus, they don’t have to prove anything to anyone whether they have chemistry or not. Every relationship is different. You don’t know what kind of chemistry they have in private.

First of all, Lucky, Halle Berry is not your typical black woman. She may call hersoefl as black, but she has facial feature and physicality qualities that make her acceptable to world class audiences.

If we were talking Whoppi Goldberg and Ted Danson, you might have a point. But, soceity has at least arrived at a point where brown skinned Caucasian dominant women are approved and appreciated.

What I would say about Halle is that she does look rather hard in the face. Like she’s in a struggle of some sort. She doesn’t come across as a carefree Hollywood beauty. Almost like Jessica Alba==pre Honor.

Her boyfriend does have a look of contentment.. And in that respect, his cool, mellow, confident demeanor versus her brooding, angry, sullen exteriro, they do not look like a matched couple. But, it doesn’t have anything to do with her color. Especially given that as a bi-racial with deep roots in America, she’s probably mostly Caucssian.

Things are different than they used to be but folks need a reality and truth check. If Halle was a white woman she would have been treated like white woman when she first got to Hollywood and cast next to white men as their love interest.
