Engaged couple Rachel Bilson and Hayden Christensen spend their Memorial Day weekend together, catching a departing flight out of LAX airport in Los Angeles on Saturday (May 23).
Hayden, 28, wore a Lacoste cap and carried around a bag full of tennis equipment — rackets and balls! Rachel, 27, was seen rolling around her luggage in a Kipling rolling suitcase.

I’ll take a stab at it. Probably on vacation for Memorial Day. If you are suggesting they’re going to get married, well, I would carry a garment bag with a dress in it. I don’t see one. Even if it’s not a big dress, something tiny and delicate, it still belongs in a garment bag. Knowing Rachel she would have one, she would want to look special for her special day. And it looks to me as if they have a rolling bag stuffed with clothing. I don’t think a dress or anything presentable is in there. And how romantic would it be to take your laptop if you were getting married and honeymooning at the same time? I would think you would leave that behind. Does that sound romantic to you? Bringing your laptop to work on on your honeymoon? You should probably be doing other things with your time.
So, what was the other place you had in mind?
This caption should have read, the showmance continues. how come we get them at LAX, grocery shopping, but never dating, or them looking even remotely affectionate with each other ? Does the contract not require such actions of love between a newly engaged, delerious in love young couple ? They are just required to have this superior, smug attitude when papped. Where’s her sophistication though! I’ve only ever seen a few photographs of her and she is so unsophisticated. She reminds me of the little pug faced puppy that my Great Dane used to play with in the park. Cute, but a non-entity when up against the sleeker hunting breeds. She really should do something about her image, she’s a woman not a ten year old child. She really should take note of how Kate Moss achieves such effortless and individual beauty, then use the Moss effect as a basis of inspiration. Of course that will be the “only” thing that they would settle to do – is just to leave LA and hibernate to some place indefinitely or even for good. They have nothing or pending to do in HW as both of their careers (hackting, fauxshion & etc. etc) are already flushed in the toilet. I may sound like a broken record, I’m by no means a hater. But I still see no chemistry and their body language is atrocious for two people who are newly engaged. People can say they look “happy” or whatever until they are blue in the face. Something is odd about a couple who is supposed to be engaged and they still appear to act the way they do. No, they don’t have to touch each other. But you can usually still tell and you don’t get that with these two at all. The only thing we ever have to go on is the fact that they’re “always” together and family stuff, that’s it. That’s the only way you can “tell” they are involved. They always look like they just happened to be walking to the same place at the same time. Not like they’re together or even comfortable being seen together. Lately the pictures show Rachel smiling or looking at him but rarely one of him looking or smiling at her. He seems to be emotionally closed to her and she looks desperate to get his attention. LC had lowered their standards this time around so yeah a regular AXE deodorant commercial would be more far more realistic. I think that LC Ad is not that (or not meant to be) widely distributed - to think that I even catch on the likes of John Rhys Myers’ Hugo Boss Ad running constantly in Star World Asia. But that La Coste Ad… not even a smell of it. A good thing though… seeing less & less of Haydent either in big/small screen would just be consider as a sound judgment.

It’s been a good four days and there’s only 90 something comments. No one really cares anymore. People are sick of them, whether you like them or not. Usually this place would be 9 pages deep by now. Not anymore. That’s what happens when you continuously shove an image down someone’s throat. It’s like eating steak everyday for a week straight. Eventually you get tired of it and want something different. Hayden’s not working, probably doesn’t want to, he’s lost something. He’s supposed to be an actor. And Rachel isn’t really doing anything either. Yet you have this constant barrage of her and/or them whenever they’re in LA or hell even Canada. I’m a Hayden fan, but I don’t know how much longer I can stand behind him. All he is now is gossip fodder and a gossip blog darling. How can I “support” someone who apparently doesn’t work and the only thing he’s apparently good for nowadays is appearing in gossip mags and being papped, although infrequent, doing absolutely nothing constructive. Wow, he’s grocery shopping, following behind Rachel pushing a cart,…yay. He’s making it extremely hard to be a fan. At least for me. He can go off to France, doesn’t matter if it’s for Lacoste or not. But he can’t get out there and fight for an acting job? Why do I even bother? I say wake me when he starts working again. Because gossip page star isn’t a real job.

OMG, that’s exactly how I feel. How can you stand behind someone who does nothing but follow his girlfriend around? I know that’s not the point, but he’s like a puppy that’s lost his way. Another young man that’s actually doing something that you should back is Channing Tatum. He’s extremely talented and does more than walk around being papped, whether he’s in his backyard or coming out of Whole Foods. He has a ton of projects coming up. He’s in Public Enemies with Johnny Depp, GI Joe. He’s supposed to be in a period film with Jamie Bell. He’s going to be in a movie with Ryan Phillippe and Giovanni Ribisi. He has tons of upcoming projects he’s working on. He’s going to be big. That’s not what he wants, but it’s going to happen. Now that is a young man working on his stuff. You wanna back someone who’s worth it? Back him. I love Hayden, but dude is ******** up. And I’m constantly being left looking like a fool everytime I defend him. He has so much potential but is pissing it away.
Channing Tatum might be a very busy man, but maybe does not have a love life or an unhappy one.
There seems to be a lot of negative posting at the moment, I for one do not normally post but have felt the need too recently, just to say that there are still Hayden fans out here, I cannot wait to see him working again, but I cannot lose interest in somone just because they are not doing exactly what is expected of them. When a new movie of his comes out I will be sure to go and see it. I have not seen any reports of him getting arrested or hurting people or causing problems etc . . . and until the day the he does something which I believe is against my own morales and values I will still be a fan.

Youre insane if you say that this papparazzi adoring press couple is LOW KEY. They are photographed hundreds of times more than Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt (RB gets papped almost daily when she’s in LA because she calls them for photo ops.) They are even photographed more than Spencer Pratt and Heidi Montag who they are compared to, more than Jake Gyllenhal and Reese Witherspoon, more than Jessica Simpson and Tom Whatshisname, more than anyone than except Tom Cruise and Katie Holmes. They are a walking press event with RB squeezing every possible drop of publicity out of this relationship that she can possibly get. Who else would treat a robbery as a great big advertisement for attention and pity instead of a violation that the police should handle privately, and who else would announce her engagement at an airport with a ‘undercover’ press agent recruited to be there to overhear her ‘confess’ such a carefully guarded ’secret’ to a total stranger? It’s because RB doesn’t ever WORK. She shops. She has lunch. She walks her dog. She goes to fashion events. She copies other designer’s work and passes it off as her own. She shops some more. And then she shops. He doesn’t work either. He goes to airports. He has lunch. He goes out for smoothies and he goes grocery shopping. With her. He doesn’t do events. He doesn’t give a crap about other people and neither does she, since they support no charity either separately or together except for the occasional photo-op gala which is all about the attention they will get, not any actual charitable function. The two of them don’t do anything but press out their relationship, which is mentioned in every single article that either one is in, shown together or alone, like that’s all they’re known for now that their careers are over. HC has done exactly one thing in acting this year and that was a mercy gig that he got because someone in the production knew he’s on the decline professionally and needed a job. The film is expected to suck when released next year and he will be enviscerated by the critics again, because he can’t act. They are an insult to working professional actors everywhere, who are trying to perfect their craft rather than try to skate by on looks and a famous name, pressing out their private lives because they don’t have a resume that means anything.

As for HC he proved he doesn’t care anymore what people think or feel. I guess he rather be alone and left alone in hiding b/c admitting what he really is might expose him more then he wants. Yeah but her idea of a workout is going from store to store for several hours, going in and out of fitting rooms, trying on uberexpensive designer clothes, doing those powerlifts of her cellphone, babbling to her friends at lunch, etc. She would only play tennis in high heels and only if she didn’t have to move more than one step in any direction to hit the ball. Hayden by all reports these days has a huge ego, acts like a total jerk. He might not be ranting like Christian Bale YET but he if ever works again, look for it soon on ET or E!Online. Also I think you have to have a hit movie in the recent past in order to be able to get away with that without being fired.
Those new pics of him at the open make him look 10 years older than he is. His face looks dirty from the chain-smoking and he’s wearing too much makeup. The foundation is too dark, way too dark, he was pale looking in LA. At least the big sweater hides the man boobs. Oh my gosh, I totally agree! I thoughht the exact same thing when I saw the photos - ‘he is wearing way too much makeup’. It’s like the under eye concelaer wasn’t done properly, yet he has loads of foundation. You can see it on HQ pics. The only excuse I can think of is that the heat may have affected it (but then France isn’t warmer than LA, is it?)

Is there anything you do to prepare for writing the riffs, especially when you know the movie’s going to be horrible?
M. Nelson: One of the things is just constant research on the movie and references to it. But every movie has its painful things to write and you can’t quite prepare yourself for that. What I tend to do is stay up really late because you keep putting it off like, “Uh! I don’t want to do this scene with Hayden Christensen.” So I put it off until late at night until I get punchy and that seems to make it go easier.

In Hollywood you’re only as good as your last film and his last released film was so bad it went straight to DVD. The one before that, Jumper, is on the list of one of the ten worst films of 2008 and his performance + that of his wife was slammed by every single critic that reviewed it.

In 2006 it might have been feasible but since he married that loser RB his life is pretty much over as a serious actor. Gee, did LaCoste pay for HC and his whole family to go to Paris? That’s it, they’re on a freeloading trip, timed their so called robbery to coincide with this Paris trip.
There has to be a new definition for that kind of opportunistic selfishness, greed and stupidity. Yeah, they’ve been married about 3 months now. There are pics of her at the LaCoste thing with her hands all over him and sticking to him like glue, probably because she doesn’t understand a word of French and she wants the whole world to know that she owns him now. This is part of their honeymoon. Also it’s true his mother and sister are there as well, freeloading as a previous poster said. LaCoste gave the bride a necklace. Chanel is giving her a bunch of clothes and I understand she will be getting a lot of presents now that it’s official that she’s his wife.
Pffff! They are not yet married. His family is not at Roland Garros. He will stay in Paris until the end of the tournament. He does not speak french better than Rachel.
