Rachel Bilson & Hayden Christensen: Memorial Day Mates!

Well HC could now go on w/ that (fanfictional) marriage/wedding thing. It seems that in terms of career wise, it’s not much of a hindrance or not at all anymore as both of them got their HW radar “deactivated” for quite awhile now & for hell knows how long… unless that there would be now an “excuse” for lacking of funds w/ is just predictably feasible in their case. So onto that “engagement thing… indefinitely” lol!

yea, he’s promoting Lacoste at the French Open. BTW, he is a very good tennis player also, tho of course , no PRO. i hope he’s getting a good payday, since he is missing out on acting roles.

I may sound like a broken record, I’m by no means a hater. But I still see no chemistry and their body language is atrocious for two people who are newly engaged. People can say they look “happy” or whatever until they are blue in the face. Something is odd about a couple who is supposed to be engaged and they still appear to act the way they do. No, they don’t have to touch each other. But you can usually still tell and you don’t get that with these two at all. The only thing we ever have to go on is the fact that they’re “always” together and family stuff, that’s it. That’s the only way you can “tell” they are involved. If there wasn’t that, everyone would be crying foul. You can smile all you want, but their BL tells a whole different story.

I love her and I’ve come around to liking him over the past few months. But I have to agree with you. So you’re not alone in that thinking. I’m sure people will use the privacy excuse. But no, that’s not it. You can still be private and give off the vibe, and I don’t get it either. Never ever have. I’m sure people will have a problem with you and I saying that. They always do and come up with some excuses. Which is why I never usually say anything because some of it is ridiculous. And it makes me angry when people just downplay my opinion and tell me what I can or cannot see. You just have to shake your head at people who try to tell you why you can’t see something. How arrogant. And I don’t want to agree with the haters who are mean about it. But what you said was true. Well, to me it is.

@Sasha You are not the only one who thinks the same thing. They look like friends not lovers. There is zero chemistry. They always look like they just happened to be walking to the same place at the same time. Not like they’re together or even comfortable being seen together. Lately the pictures show Rachel smiling or looking at him but rarely one of him looking or smiling at her. He seems to be emotionally closed to her and she looks desperate to get his attention. I could be wrong and kinda hope that I am. It’s hell to be in a relationship that isn’t right and the feelings aren’t equal on both sides.

I’m such a HUGE fan of Hayden’s and I say what’s the point of this relationship? So you got licked by love honey, that doesn’t mean you settle for the next pretty face that smiles back at you. Someone said once, we the fans though he would pick someone more self-made, assertive, INTELLIGENT, an equal, i.e A WOMAN. I thought I was seeing something different from the rest of the batch of young actor out there; Hayden didn’t seem so superficial, but maybe I was wrong.

I’m not a fan or hater of these couple, so what I’m gonna say is based purely as a neutral….

I think the posters who said that these two are never romantic in public therefore their relation is fake I say how naive can anyone be?

I’m actually more suspicious of celebrities who FEEL THE NEED TO SHOW PUBLIC DISPLAY OF AFFECTION its so contrived.

These two are usually photographed in thier parents homes, parkin lots, supermarkets, airport, places that most people are seen, they’re not in and out of the ivy holding hands and making out in front of the camera.
They’re not looking ‘lusftully’ into each others eyes whist stroking each others faces in movie premiers…that’s because their relation is genuine and secure, there LOVE IS FOR EACH OTHER NOT PUBLIC CONSUMPTION…If there relationship is fake its would be the other way round they’d constantly want to proof they’re in love.

But, wouldn’t that make them suspect and contrived according to abbadabba or whatever the name is? LOL. PDA at a commercial/photoshoot? Their love is not for public consumption, especially at a photoshoot with tons of cameras around. LOL. They really shouldn’t do the pda thing. You can tell he was kind of uncomfortable, but that’s just me. They should continue doing what they have been doing.

Icks… that just looks painful to see or even watch just like seeing them acting together onscreen. I believe that is the “1st & the last” time that they did that stunt. Thank God that they quit it & get back to their “usual” as bored rigid & stoned-looking couplet where they act & look better.
