Rihanna Grins and Bears It
Rihanna puts on an awkward grin as she works her way through JFK airport in New York City on Saturday (March 23).
The 21-year-old Bajan babe spent some time at Kanye’s apartment over the weekend, looking ready for a night out on the town.
RiRi pulled a switcheroo as she walked into the apartment looking casual and came out looking fierce!

She is no Angelina Jolie…Wow - and some of us are happy about that one. You all have to accept the fact that beuaty is a cultural and personal thing. Angelina Jolie is beutiful by European Standards, but Rihanna’s body and style are very, very much beautiful by non-European standards. And she is extremely creative in her dressing - can’t say the same for Angelina. She has simply become a fashion incon - people that know fashion look to see what’s she wearing, so the interest is there. And then her and Chris both have so much personaliity, yet they did such down to earth things when they diated - like eating at KFC , going to the amusement park and petting zoo - I can understand why the paparazzi follow them -that’s something different for young celebs .
Yes, beauty is a personal and cultural thing and there are plenty of us non-Europeans who do not find this woman attractive. Most of the time she doesn’t even resemble a woman but rather a drag queen made up to resemble a woman. That is why she looks so bad plain in her regular photos and is barely recognizable from her music videos.
Rihanna is not a fashion icon. She is just a media prop manipulated by a clever music label. Most of the time she looks garish and stocked piled on trends. Yes, people are looking, but in the same way you can’t draw your eyes from a train wreck. It’s sad to see a 21 year old woman with makeup caked on so heavily she looks 45. Not much mention is given to her music these days, though given her limited vocal range, maybe that’s a good thing.
