OlderShenae Grimes: Jac & Gill Went Up The Hill
Shenae Grimes is white hot in her own design at the 2009 CW Network Upfronts at Madison Square Garden in New York City on Thursday (May 21). Here’s what the 19-year-old Canadian actress told JustJared.com:
JJ: You look gorgeous! Who are you wearing?
SG: I’m wearing myself, I co-designed it with my best friend Jacqueline, she’s got a line called JacFlash. So we designed this for the Upfronts! [My friend Jaclyn has an entire line] called Jac & Gill and it will be coming out in July, it’s a house brand for her store in Toronto, so it’s just something fun for the occasion.
JJ: How do you see (your character) Annie progressing next season?
SG: She did a bit of a 180 in the last episode. Annie was good, good, good girl all year long, always smiling and being pushed around by mean kids at Beverly High and finally she put her foot down. I’m excited, I hope she keeps that foot down for a little while and stirs up a little trouble, gets herself into some messes and learn some lessons! That’s what high school is all about.
JJ: What was the most valuable lesson you learned in school?
SG: In a weird way, the acting role has kind of been my high school. I’ve been doing it since I was 14 so Degrassi was my high school world, I kind of grew up in a professional driven world, and that definitely taught me a lot of lessons!
JJ: What have you been doing with your hiatus? When do you start shooting the next season?
SG: Nada! Just hanging out with my family in Toronto, I went home as soon as I wrapped. I also went to Paris for 10 days and loved it. We start [filming] super soon, in mid-June! Not too much time off, but I’m happy about it.

Miley Cyrus wanna-be?
That outfit is strange, I don’t think I’m feeling the one sleeve. It does however make her look like a sexy little figure skater, which I guess is a good thing. She has gained some weight, which is also diffenately a good thing. She looks extremely hot.
