Zhang Ziyi Faces Cannes Premieres
Zhang Ziyi walks the red carpet of the Face Premiere at the Palais De Festivals during the 2009 Cannes Film Festival on Saturday (May 23) in Cannes, France.
The 30-year-old actress also attended the Coco Chanel & Igor Stravinsky Premiere and helped present Austrian actor Christoph Waltz with the Best Actor award for his part in Inglourious Basterds by director Quentin Tarantino during the Closing Ceremony of the 2009 Cannes Film Festival. Best actress went to Charlotte Gainsbourg for Lars Von Trier’s controversial Antichrist. Best directing honors went to Brillante Mendoza for Kinatay.

Haha! Couldn’t resist! Really watching Kitchen Nightmares UK though–love Ramsay. Oh I did, great points, I do think though that him being a high-profile model will help him understand the life of being on the run and in the camera’s eye with Halle. That was my only difference! Everything else–brilliant.

I didn’t think you would get an answer to your question because she didn’t get it. What I really wanted to say to her is that her perception had a racist undertone to them. But I got the impression that the black/bi-racial experience is different for her than it is for someone living the states. So I think she got my meaning and she will be thinking about it.

Yes, your last two thoughts is definitely something I couldn’t agree more with. I saw the new stuff calling my posts “reactionary,” but it’s hard to see the forest from the trees as they say for some people. And it’s not in posts I’ve exclusively seen in Halle’s threads anyway!
i heard she is really dislike in her native china. i think she is known to be a diva and was involved in a love triangle or something like that. it’s weird but chinese web sites are really hard on her. she is pretty but i think there are more beautiful chinese actresses who are more exotic where she looks more watered down. i think gong li is way more beautiful.
