Hugh Jackman: Dashing Daughter
Hugh Jackman rides his bike with 3-year-old daughter Ava on a scooter at a park near their home in New York City on Sunday (May 24).
The 40-year-old Aussie actor’s movie X-Men Origins: Wolverine banked in a total of $163 million thus far.
As for what’s next for Hugh, Variety is reporting that the actor will play an ex Gotham police detective who picks up bodyguard duty for a spoiled teen heiress in a new movie called Personal Security.
Also in the works is the remake of Rodgers and Hammerstein’s classic Carousel with Hugh playing Billy Bigelow and Anne Hathaway playing Julie Jordan in the musical.

Sorry - No. 49. Have to disagree with you. Ava is not cute, will never be and has mild Downs Syndrome just to top it all off. Unfortunately kid indeed.
Sorry - that should have read “unfortunate”. Nevertheless given her health condition, perhaps he was thinking a helmet wouldn’t be appropriate. She has enough problems in life to worry about. ie Short, stumpy, unattractive, huge round face which I hear only becomes more prominant in later life, short term life span. Arrrrh the list goes on. And you all were worried about a helmet.

i don’t think jackman’s superdad, i think he’s a normal dad. i don’t think he’s a better dad than others because i don’t see their pics on the net. unlike you, i don’t judge people i’ve never met. and just because you don’t see the pics on the net , doesn’t mean those celebs who “shield” their kids don’t have paps all over them taking pics. the media posts what it wants, the more famous the actor the more pics you’ll see, period. that’s why you see tom cruise everywhere. the media knows people want to see his kids, so they post the pics. the lesser known actors, the less pics with the kids. cause the paps know there’s not much interest by the public. “shielding”. please.
I saw pics yesterday of christian bale with his daughter on splashonline. he was even smiling. he has a big movie in the theatres now. hey, maybe he’s pimping his kid for the movie?? look, i just saw halle berry on eonline with her daughter. pimping!! oh, and here’s Matthew McConaughey at the beach with his baby. also has a movie in the theatres. pimping! fame *****!!
Will Hugh ever star in a movie with his wife Deb? If so, maybe Deb could play the role of his MOTHER!!!

always crying about how celebs are “pimping” their kids. yeah right. if you were so bothered by it like you pretend to, you wouldn’t spend so much of your time on a website that 99% of its content contains pics of celebs with their kids. go on, go to a few more posts and look at pics of kids and complain about.
and if you didn’t care at all about jackman, you wouldn’t go to every single post about him and waste your time talking about him.

About the “she’s not wearing a helmet” outcry - These are still shots out of how many taken…? I saw more of these pictures on another celeb blog where she was wearing a helmet while “racing” her dad (can’t find them now - weird, huh?) but took it off at some point.

Kids will do things like this, & don’t think they can’t because 3, 4, 5 years of age. My God! My nephew almost caused a nasty accident when he was about a month shy of his 3rd birthday. His mom was driving them to the mall when his stuffed panda flew over the back seat because he’d thrown it… Okay, she’d give it back to him when they parked, right? No. He climbed over the seat to get it himself! Terrified the %*#@ out of her & caused her to swerve into the lane next to her… Thank God, no cars were near her & she pulled over to the side of the road, strapped him back in his child seat (securely) & got back behind the wheel.

That was all the time he needed (about 30-40 seconds) to get out again. He had unfastened the harness because he wanted to “sit beside mommy… then asked her if he could drive”! Suffice it to say, he rightly earned the nickname: “Little Houdini” because of that & other stunts as well. Made us nervous wrecks… 15 years later.

when i was about your nephew’s age and my folks were in the street talking to friends, I took off running towards the road. they started running after me, but my mom says I was so fast i got to the road before they caught up to me. fortunately, I stopped because I was more interested in watching the cars go by than trying to cross the road lol.
and I won’t mention every single time my brother climbed things and fell and drove my mom crazy with worry. broke his arm once. I didn’t, miraculously.
#51—pray tell–what do you base your diagnosis of Downs Syndrome on? I can guarantee you Ava Jackman is not afflicted with the condition or anything else. Keep your Walmart medical degree where it belongs- in the garbage.
