It seems staged because they have so many photo ops. I think they are only real in that way that Hollywood relationships are real like Jen and Vince or Jen and John Mayer. They are all a bit suspect in my opinion.

And one more thing: Jake is becoming a father that Ryan could not to be cause of divorce and distance from his kids.

Prince of Persia will become one of the most expensive movies because of the amount of CGI they are having to use to cover up Jake’s complete lack of agility and grace. That’s why the movie was pushed back a year. He’s just not convincing with a sword in his hand. Disney may have to just dump it and take the loss as a tax write-off.

@emma.: You grow up, open your eyes, do some research away from sites like JJ here, who along with print mags like People, are paid to promote celebrities and their well-planned PR image and then you’ll realize what a bunch of phonies these two are. Jake hasn’t had a movie released in 2 or 3 years, his last 3 have been box office flops and he has no firm offers to date. Reese would be NOTHING without her “Romance with Jake” press and photo ops after her divorce. She has producing and movie flops, her middle-aged foray into tired old romcoms and a voiceover in an animated Disney movie. PR with Jake is the only thing keeping her relevant, and Jake’s PR with her…well it was supposed to make him look straight but all it’s done is make him look ball-less, unhappy and whipped. So much for Reese improving his image because their PR alliance has all but obliterated his fanbase.

i could give a **** about either of them, lol, even if they seem like totally cool and down to earth ppl, but the only reason i’m commenting here is because you mentioned Prince of Persia AHHHHHHHHHH, and if they mess this up…there will be riots. they better not mess this movie up at all, and the image quality along with the action better be top notch. ugh. i don’t know why i’m soooo invested in the movie, considering i’ve never played the game, but i have watched my bros play the game, and it is one of the best animated video games ever, so if they mess it up, really, there will be boycotts.

Hardly. Reese was a big success before this relationship. She was critically acclaimed right from her first movie. She received huge respect for Freeway and Election. Legally Blonde was a massive smash and she got numerous awards and acclaim for Walk the Line. Monsters Vs Aliens is a box office smash, as was Four Xmases. She’s lined up to work with James L Brooks and Alexander Payne, as well as a number of other possible productions. Fact is, Reese is, and always has been, a success in every manner of the word.

As for Jake, he’s still young. Male actors grow into stars later in Hollywood. Look at Clooney, RDJ, Brad Pitt, Philip Seymour Hoffman etc.

Anyway what I think happens is the press divide up and follow until the get the two together then call each other for shared information on who’s where. These two really seem to dislike the papps, and can’t imagine them calling ahead for a staged photo op.

@two publicity whores: Yeah isn’t it strange how paps appear wherever Reese is like museums, pig farms or an obscure airport in Italy or even a hotel in rural Italy or in a Central California small town where other celebs are but gee no one spotted them, they only pap Reese and Jake. Or on Jake’s closed movie sets, no pics at all allowed, not even cell phones but the minute Reese shows up for a visit a pap just happens to catch her and Jakey talking and holding hands on a closed movie set! It boggles the mind how they find her in the most out of the way places!

I really like Reese and am happy that she has moved on from her divorce. She very much deserves a man who appreciates her and makes her happy. Helps that Jake is yum!

yeah disney sucks. i haven’t seen anything good come out from them recently/in my lifetime (unless it’s a cartoon) so i have no high hopes for this movie at all, because when they got the rights to do the movie…i remember thinking the world was ending. i hope they’re really hands off. i have been watching the filming of this stupid game for about 2 years plus and the writing of the script before they even got backing for the movie for longer…so it’s been a long ass while in the making and i’m just saying they better not f up.

Jake when he was dating with Kirsten plus when he become popular with movies such as TDAT and BBM. When they finish together they were far more interesting like all celeb couples but only difference between other celeb couples and Jake & Reese, is that these two lasts.

it’s their publicists that let the paps know where they are going to be so they can have plenty of photo ops. There are pics of Jake in Ojai on Sun at the farmer’s market. Why would the paps be hanging around up there unless they knew Jake and reeke were going to be there?
