Tom Cruise and wife, Katie Holmes wave to the crowd as they arrive at Capitol Hill for the memorial concert in Washington DC on Sunday (May 24).
Katie, 30, re-enacted a veteran’s family with veteran, Dianne Wiest. They both co-starred in the Broadway production of All My Sons. Katie spoke highly of Dianne, saying, “She’s amazing. She’s an extraordinary actress and an extraordinary woman — so kind and generous. I love her.” Dianne also had kind words for the former Dawson’s Creek star, saying, “There is something courageous and deeply giving about Katie, and there is a modesty and grace to her generosity. The remarkable woman she plays in (the concert) will be well-served!”

On the contrary, you are the loser. You lost site that this is about our War Veterans and those that have honored our country by serving and in some cases dying for it. If Katie had given a decent performance honoring our military I don’t think any of us on this thread would be complaining.
There were others up on that stage that myself and I bet others on this thread didn’t care for, but NONE of them–I repeat NONE of them gave a weak performance or looked so awkward and vapid as this woman.
Tom looks fabulous. I think it’s cool how it he spends a lot of time with his older son. he’s in almost all paparazzi pix with tom
@loser……Total PR stunt on Crazy’s part. They do not care, nor have they ever helped veterans. Just trying to recruit more innocent people and soak up any pennies they have for Sci-Fi world. He has to realize the world DOES NOT revolve around him…..but that will probably never happen. I also want to know, what thread is #56 talking about? Katie’s performance was truly pathetic and I was totally embarrassed for her. She can’t act to save her life now which is why she works so infrequently these days. The next movie she has coming up is low budget and shes not even the star. Second banana again. She looked dull, dimwitted, and lobotomized. What a shame. I was such a fan during the DC days. Its really too bad that she hooked up Cruise. I wonder what she would have accomplished without him.

#71……Don’t you get it??? PR is ALL they care about. Having his brain dead wife speak of something she has no idea about, at an event that is important ,was a crying shame. IF he actually cared about vets, he would have started something long ago…not just today. And YES, I hate Tom Cruise and his robot wife. IF they could ever do any REAL good, I would be amazed.
