I guess since Halle’s biracial herself, and uf have the recessive genes for it, who knows. Blue/green/violet etc. are just another variation of brown anyway, which I found the most interesting thing…

Baby Nahla has gorgeous features. I think she is going to be a beauty.
If you compare her to Jessica Alba’s daughter, you will see how much more refined Nahla’s features are.
I’m not a hater and I love babies, but I couldn’t help to notice the difference between the two baby girls.

She is striking I must admit. A beautiful baby. She’s also going to be quite tall I think because she’s only one and she’s long in the torso. Which is a good thing because most women prefer to be tall. I also like that she is a slim baby, I don’t like to see fat babies because it is unhealthy for them. In France, doctors tell new mothers to underfeed their babies to prevent obesity.

Frenchy - babies by a year usually establish their eye color so whatever eye’s she has now are going to be hers for the most part. And the dark skin and blue eyes couldn’t have been a more perfect combination for this absolute gorgeous girl!

She does seem to be quite big for her age. That can be a good thing or a bad thing depending on how she turns out. She may be cute now but looks do change. You have to be really skinny if you’re a tall chick or else you’ll look like that big kardhashian chick lol

Vanessa williams is half black, and Halle’s baby is 75% white so why wouldn’t see look white with a tan, and the baby didn’t get any black features, not her hair, eyes, nose, or mouth and even her skin color is more of a tan complexion then black or brown.

ava^^^^^ both vanessa williams’ parents are black. i have an aunt who lived in the syracus, ny area where she grew up. and if you see photos of vanessa’s parents they are both black. jada pinkett smith who has green eyes has both parents black. also there is no such thing as a typical black feature anymore. since black people are so mixed with other things. there is a tribe in southern africa that was determined to have the same dna as people in tibet, asia. and the tribe has asian features too. so you never know with dna. i am just saying i have alot of black friends who are black yet some have freckles and red hair or green/blue eyes but they do not know anyone in their family who is non-black. it is just a product of slavery, i guess. a lot of black people are just mixed with other things. just the way it is. also that 75% white that nahla maybe may in fact not even be a pure 75% white - she may have some native american or who knows what else. even whites are not 100% pure. pure races really don’t exist that much anymore. unless you’re in antartica and even then! but as far as america goes, nahla is going to be seen as an “other” despite her lineage. i guess we have really strict ideas about which sides people are on. i also notice if something is beautiful, people want to claim is as white and if not they want it to be an “other”. weird. who cares. all people are beautiful. especially little nahla.

if this was a white actress with a half asian baby would we be even having this discussion about her racial characteristics? i don’t see this kind of talk on kate plus 8 threads. leave nahla alone. she is a child of the world and is gorgeous and if we all procreate with each other like brad pitt said once, the world would be a great place with stunning kids. we are all the same. if i had a kid like nahla i would be so happy. she is beautiful.

Wow, some of these comments make me realize how close minded and chauvinistic people are. She is mixed, end of story. Please don’t dissect her features like she’s some type of science experiment. I hate when people are “Oooh she has white features…ooh she has black features”. I’ve seen white people with full basket ball dribbling lips, butts so big that, YES, you could bounce a quarter off it it, stand back ten feet and it would still hit you. I’ve also seen skinny black women with no hips, thighs, thin lips, and no butt. I really don’t care about anthropological reasoning either because guess what everyone, you’re mixed with something. Get a clue people.

And the comments that make it seem like OOooh she’s mostly European, look at those features, I can’t believe she has blue eyes. please refrain from speaking publicly ever again. Gee, if I had the thousands to spare I would get butt implants and lip implants like Jessica Biel, Kim Kardashian, Pamela Lee Anderson and all those Hollywood gals. Oh, well guess I have to settle for my teeny one as it is. lol. I do have a recurring fantasy of looking like a hot video vixen - I mean at the club they always get all the attention from men. Nahla is so pretty! I always thought she was lovely but this is the first time I’ve seen her looking directly at the camera without making a silly face, so I can see her features better now. She’s got mama’s perfect lips and the same creamy skin. Yes, it’s a nice shade…but I mean both Halle and Nahla’s skin looks “silky”. Then her eyes are great because they are kind of slanty like Dad’s, but in the middle they get that nice roundness to them, which is what makes Halle’s eyes so beautiful. Not to mention blond, curly hair, blue eyes, and bronze skin. She hit the genetic jackpot. Have another one Halle!

Why does the issue of race ALWAYS has to be brought up on JJ’s threads on Halle Berry unless it’s to educate ignorant people, just because Halle and Nahla are mixed and Aubry’s White?

Yes, it is all about dominant/recessive genes which Nahla has both of from both parents.

Heck add Michael Ealy to the list, he has green eyes and both his parents are AA as well as Eric’s mother who is part Creole who has light eyes (sarcasm).

Nahla looks like however she’s supposed to look like given her genetic make up in being a 14 month old child. What’s the big deal?
