OlderNahla Aubry’s Memorial Day BBQ
Halle Berry and baby Nahla travel to a near-by friend’s home for a Memorial Day BBQ on Monday (May 25) in Beverly Hills, Calif.
The 42-year-old actress and her boyfriend, model Gabriel Aubry took their 1-year-old daughter to the Topanga Days County Fair on Sunday.
Halle is currently preparing for her role in the movie Nappily Ever After, which is based on a novel. The novel tells the story of a young woman, Venus Johnson, who has grown weary of her four-year relationship with her boyfriend, and having to maintain her long, dark hair. Resolving to create a new, independent life for herself, she leaves her boyfriend and cuts her hair to an almost-bald stubby look. Her ex-boyfriend shortly begins dating another woman, sparking feelings of doubt and jealousy in Venus.

I guess since Halle’s biracial herself, and uf have the recessive genes for it, who knows. Blue/green/violet etc. are just another variation of brown anyway, which I found the most interesting thing…

If you compare her to Jessica Alba’s daughter, you will see how much more refined Nahla’s features are.

She is striking I must admit. A beautiful baby. She’s also going to be quite tall I think because she’s only one and she’s long in the torso. Which is a good thing because most women prefer to be tall. I also like that she is a slim baby, I don’t like to see fat babies because it is unhealthy for them. In France, doctors tell new mothers to underfeed their babies to prevent obesity.

She looks like an old-fashioned Gerber baby. She also looks just like Halle’s mom. She is a lovely, creamy baby. I would steal her if I could.

Frenchy - babies by a year usually establish their eye color so whatever eye’s she has now are going to be hers for the most part. And the dark skin and blue eyes couldn’t have been a more perfect combination for this absolute gorgeous girl!
Damn JJ, does she have you on her payroll. Change it up a bit and show some real celebs. You people have obviously not been around any multi-racial kids before, nothing special here.

vanessa williams has blue eyes and she is fully black as do so many other people - james earl jones etc. genetics are an unpredictable thing. it is curious but i have seen so many black kids that are much much lighter than biracial kids. it’s the recessive gene thing. most african-americans have white ancestry - i think it is a very high number like over 20% or something like that. fascinating. anyway, nahla is superb. that skin color is to die for - like a little caramel!
she may have her moms skin coloring, but looks wise, she def takes after her dad!! so cute!
